Armando is the guy who produced , co-wrote and co-created The Day Today. (He didn’t have anything to do with Brass Eye though- that show basically is what The Day Today would have been without Iannucci).
He was also the driving force behind all of the Alan Partridge shows you’ve been watching of late. Although he’s probably best know these days for The Thick of It and its US ‘remake’ Veep.
Yes Armando is a legend. He’s also directed a couple of films in recent years, “The Death of Stalin” (2017) & “The Personal History of David Copperfield” (2019) both of which are very good. He also did “The Armando Iannucci Shows” a series for Channel 4 back in 2001. It was very quirky, sketch show type thingy with some amazing characters.

it's quite simple- the consitution is something everybody else HAS to obey bar themselves. And they only obey it when it s them an advantage

The energy levels were so odd during the lockdowns. Virtual Audiences watching online with applause piped in - the lack of live audience just made them all feel flat.
I think Paul in particular needs an audience. He's a live performer.
