hello Sir please could you tell me how you fixed the sights as I've just got the buck mark magnum 22 very recently ,I thought it had 2 thin groves but it hasn't, because no one can seem to tell me I would appreciate it if you could .kind regards Craig
The Buck Mark Magnum should have Dovetail groves in the top rear of the pistol. These are 9-11mm groves so you will need an adapter rail from Dovetail to 20mm Weaver to fit most Red Dots. due to its recoil i fitted a Game arrestor stop. In front of the game stop is an short adapter block Dovetail to 20mm to mount the Red Dot. On later video i fitted a adapter rail and angled it up to fit the Red Dot which works better. Hope this helps.
from the looks of it you can see in the video when shooting the paper targets that the barrel is angled slightly up so that explains the pellets going up. dont know if that a design/machining mistake or something happened in assembly.
My one doesn't sit tight, its slightly raised at the junction of barrel to gun, you can feel an edge at the back of the barrel, it sits proud. I thought it was the O ring not being run in as it was new, so atm the back sight is fine lining up top edge with front sight and fires pretty central on target. Strangely, the picture on the box shows this proudness so I thought it was a manufacturing design. If the barrel fits flush thus raising the front sight (compared to mine) then you'd have to adjust the back sights lower which may present the problem. Has the O ring flattened out in storage, would this also reduce energy rating ?
@@JubbaheyChannel i only have the normal buckmark, but the o-ring definitely feels flatter after some use and slightly lower energy but i think has more to do with the spring
what's the best break barrel pistol out there in your opinion? unfortunate there's not many to choose from compared to rifles. I'd like one all wood and metal, with good trigger, good sights and decent accuracy. is it out there??
They are quite different. The Crosman is easier to shoot, cheaper, more powerful and build good for the money. The only downside is it’s Co2 powered so affected by temperature. I own both and the Crosman is the better pistol in my opinion. Check out my Crosman 2240 and 2300T videos.
@@jcdupuy4809 Dont ignore the cheap smk xs32, i have one in 177 and it slings excite econ 7.4gr at 480fps and accurate as well, Not the best trigger but not bad, could probably get it better but have not tried yet, There is also the hatsan 25 supercharger as well, quattro trigger and just under 6ftlb.
@@coaldust01I’ve bought a Hatsan Supercharger .22 in the UK, don’t know what market it was made for but I have to be careful in the choice of pellet weights, the only way I can keep it under 6 ft/lbs is to use Barracuda Match extra heavy 21g pellets, Crosman Domed 14.5g give over 8 ft/lbs, and don’t mention the Green Zinc ones. I very rarely use it now, I’m booking an appointment with a gunsmith to sort it out.
@@SuperRichard1946 Sounds like you've got the nitro piston(gas ram) version, if not you can just shorten the spring, my crosman 2240 is a bit close to the limit, I've heard if you shorten the hammer spring you get a slight power loss but many more shots per co2, I'll probably do that, But yeah, I'd sort that hatsan out just to be on the safe side, my hatsan 900x is at about 11.7ftlb, I want to strip it and lube and polish it etc but im concerned that may be a bit hot after doing so, can always shorten the spring tho, 👍🏻
I Have the .177 version and it too shoots high and the left and no amount of site adjustment fixes the issue so I'm looking for a red dot, there are plenty available but I don't think any fit this rail, could you be so kind as to recommend or give advice on what I need to look for regarding an adapter? I'm a complete newbie! Thanks in advance.
Tried shooting with the front sight almost out of sight, and still shooting high mate. To make her shoot lower I would have to extend the foresight to lower its aim point.
Very nice pistol but with the sights it comes with a scope or red dot sight is a must. Good video

Nice review, thanks.
For me the sights weren't working right with the black ruger markIV
Great video. Would you choose the browning magnum over the crosman 2240 ??

I checked it al ready. I hésitate between np mark ii , trevox, buckmark magnum and the 2240....

If you compare it with umarex Ruger Mark 4, which is quieter?

Aim low..and to the right.🙈
I really want one of these
How's the power?
Around 4.25 Ft/Lb with the pellets I used.
@@reevessairgunningreviews5572 what about the FPS?
@@BigDawg76773 347 FPS with these 15.9 grain RWS pellets.

Why is it acceptable to sell a pistol that shoots six inches high ! not good
agreed, not on. won't be buying for certain.
