I always feel a bit embarrassed when I order a vegetarian item, like when it's later in the day and I order the veggie burrito from the food truck that sits in front of my building.
@@slippykeys Imagine if there was a place that made the best burgers in the world and you loved going there, but they you found out that the methods they used to make the burgers were incredibly inhumane or they were made of human meat or something, so you decided to stop going there, but you still thought the burgers tasted amazing and craved the flavour, so you tried to replicate them at home with ethically sourced meat or just non-human meat.
Ethical reasons, for me it's not that I don't like the taste of meat, but if I can choose to pick up something that doesn't contribute as much towards suffering/climate change, ie beans, lentils, the occasional plant-based alternative to meat in the supermarket or when I'm out, 100% of the time I will do.
@@Themightymansfield how is it a mystery? people often don't just become vegan due to not liking the taste of meat mate, they often do it for the ethical reasons associated with it

If you don’t eat meat why would you want something pretending to be meat… I don’t get it
Imagine if you loved cheese but then suddenly developed an intolerance to lactose.
