Noa Kirel- Journey to Poland

Documentary courtesy of Channel 12 News Israel about Noa Kirel, One of Israel's most successful pop stars who was chosen to take part in a special musical project for Holocaust remembrance by the Shem Olam Institute,
which aims to connect future generations to the memory of the Holocaust.
As part of the project, leading singers in Israel were chosen to give new life to texts written during the Holocaust.
Noa was sent on a journey to Poland following the story of the song and in light of her own family's story and connection to the Shoah.

That’s factually inaccurate. Here’s Noa Kirel actually said: “When Poland gives Israel 12 points, after almost the entire Kirel family was murdered in the Holocaust, it is a victory.” Although some in Poland understood this to be a criticism of Poland, Kirel quickly clarified her remarks that they were not intended to criticize Poland.. “When they [Poland] awarded me the 12 points, I said it was a victory for me because what happened to my family during the Holocaust happened on Polish soil. I meant that it happened on Polish soil. Things are kind of taken out of context," Kirel said, as quoted by the i24news.tv/en. website.
