I'm sure you have sold this car by now but I wanted to point out some things. I have a 2001 e320, black on black, which runs great, and I've had it for over 5 years now and have 156k miles on it. It, however, does not look as clean as yours did. What you didn't mention is that yours, like mine, has the AMG sport appearance package. I looked that up once, and besides different front and rear bumpers and side skirts, than the standard model, it supposedly has shorter stiffer springs. Mine rides a little rougher than I would expect from a midsized mercedes. I'm sure you've had to have the conductor plate in the transmission changed just like I have, and my drivers seat headrest no longer works. That's a common problem along with windshield washer systems and other minor things. I saw yours did not have the rear window shade, but mine did. But it was broken when I got it. Someone took the switch out of the console and even put a console plate in without the hole for that switch to the right of the outside mirror switch. Mine is a dual plug V6, and I have no problems with it. Anyway, these are great cars and I really enjoy driving it.
@@swishmar0308 as I said in my overly long description, I had to have the conductor plate and plug replaced. I think I was around 140k miles at that time. I've had no other problems with the transmission.
@@swishmar0308 He mentnioed the conductor plate they will all go bad It will have you thinking the trans is bad but it isnt. Not a huge repair bill, usually under a grand.
As a 2001 E430 sport owner with 227,000 miles, I recommend! Especially if you can do some maintenance yourself. I have had the car for 3 years and it’s been such a great car and I get people looking at it and compliments all the time. I am in the middle of fixing a common issue which is the leaking valve covers. Time consuming but not very difficult

00-02 E series are super reliable, even the 8 cyl. Too cramped for me at 6'3 couldnt get comforatable in one. Kind of a chick car for the most part. Do like the sport versions with the upgraded wheels. THe stockers are horrificly boring. lol

00-02 E series are incredibly reliable, 200k if you care for them isnt a big deal
DOnt cook the headgasket and they will go another 100k easy.
