    this is all so true. literally everytime i look up wavy hair products it gives me curling irons and sea salt sprays ... and nothing wrong with that, just not what i am looking for haha. can't wait for your product review! :)

    i have a ton of products from aussie’s miracle curls line and I have the labels facing the wall so my family can’t see them bc I feel like they’ll be like “girl you do not have curly hair” lmaooo

    I never really noticed this until you bought it up I always just look for products that are lightweight and not too heavy for my fine strands of hair and that's what seems to work for me. I don't need a product that has wavy on the label as long as it's lightweight it most likely will work for my hair type.

    Gorgeous! Can’t wait for this - so hard to find those wavy products (once in a while)!!

    This is really interesting I never thought about it like this before! Just from an outside perspective (I don't have wavy hair lol) I imagine it must be frustrating to have to learn so much about hair just to know which products to buy, I really value the ease of labeled products

    As someone with 3b curls, I find it challenging to find good curl products at the drugstore. The US seems to have a better selection of drugstore products so I usually end up buying what I can find in Canada or spend more $ at the beauty supply stores. While I'm not strictly curly girl method, it would be nice if drugstore products for curly hair could just eliminate the silicones and drying alcohols.

    Your makeup looks so nice! Your theory makes sense and it’s nice to know there is so much variety for wavy hair. I’m looking forward to your review next week!

    This is incredibly helpful. I was wondering the other day why, but now I know. Thank you so much, God bless and Happy Easter! (:

    tbh this is why I watch your channel so much because my hair is similar to yours and I learn so much :) lol it annoyed me at first that there weren’t many wavy hair products when I first realized my hair was wavy. now I just use curly products that don’t weigh my hair down

    lol I went down the cgm rabbit hole and learning about all the curly brands only to go back to using garnier, and herbal essences. I forgot how good products for straight hair work on me.

    I wish more people would come out and say this as opposed to the constant push to get your hair curlier and curlier. Many good points here. :-)

      I obsessed with wanting my hair to be “curlier” for the longest time, now if/when it stretches out between washes I just wear it as is. We can use curly and straight hair products for a reason 🤷🏽‍♀️

      I get this, I feel like a lot of them don’t enhance definition the way curly products do

    I just want more products that are labeled wavy because it's embarrassing when people see a shower full of products that say "curls" on them and my hair is 2A, it makes me look delusional lol

    What's up w waxes in products e.g. beeswax? Is there any other concerns other than the fact they can build up? I want to try the shea moisture yoghurt protein power pack but can only get the new formula 😪

    • @SuhannaDeSilva
      @SuhannaDeSilva  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      The build up can be removed if you're regularly clarifying/chelating but if waxes are that much of a concern to you, you can always look for wax free products!

    • @SuhannaDeSilva
      @SuhannaDeSilva  3 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Is it “bad”? No. Is it possible that you’ll experience more frizz and/or dryness from the material and friction, yes.
