I honestly don't remember where I read this (years ago), but Mistress Dratha was told by a fortune teller that she would be murdered by a man, so she banned men from her stronghold.
About side quests, the most important thing imho is for you to finish the main quest without getting frustrated, so do whatever you need to do. That said, I'll keep watching as long as you keep playing, so a few side quests wouldn't be so bad. Fyi, there are a few side quests that could get you a badly needed levitation item. In fact, you should be near one soon, so if you want a spoiler, let me know.
Huh, that's an interesting bit of lore. I didn't expect it to be so... Tame, if that makes sense. Feel like a lot of things in Morrowind have been a little whacky, especially considering the episode ended with someone having a Khajiit as uh... Entertainment.
As for the spoiler, feel free to let me know! I could happily use a levitation item and if it involves a side quest that I can easily miss, I don't mind hearing about it!
@@YourAverageBo OK, your next stop should be Vos/Tel Vos to see Master Aryon. The first NPC you see in Aryon's chamber will give you a quest. The reward is a levitation amulet. Or, you could go to a spellmaker, and make a low-powered levitation spell that would be easier for you to cast.

@@YourAverageBo Don you have the Travel stained pants? You get them from the Caverns of the Incarnate. Unless you sold them they should allow you to levitate.
@@Anik501 I'm unsure. I don't think I do, but I'll take another look next episode to make sure! Could be I have them and just haven't paid attention enough.
