I will give you that. But the fact they made his clown instantly scary wasnt convincing. Tim Curry's clown looked friendly til it was too late so thats a bit more scary.

The concept itself is just stupid cause it contradicts with one another. How can someone be scared watching a movie filled with giggles and dirty sex jokes? The stakes of the movie already went out of the window with that
@@JoeMama-sd2kl i don't really agree. Stuff can be scary and funny at the same time. I really like Scream cause it's funny but it also creeps tf outta me. However a lot of horror/comedy movies are mostly just comedies. Like IT from 2017. It's not scary at all in my opinion (it has a few jump scares though) but it's really funny.

He said he didn't think the exorcist had a bug box office viewing. People stood in long long lines and it was constantly sold out, all over the news etc. But, movie tickets and pricing is a lot different than 40 years ago.
