Some people say what questions they ask in interview so please attention: They will just ask you questions about your included case. If you applied for immigration visa so they will ask about your family and spouse. If you applied for non immigration visa so what type of documents you submitted and what will you bring there they will ask about that. Just study your documents which you will bring they will ask all questions about that not any other things.
Its a very easy interview at the US. Am from there today and i was not lucky! i filled something wrong by heart is strong. And now am at work. i will try next year, am going to miss a very important seminar but God has plan for everything.

How long did it take you to receive an interview after all documents submitted? My daughter received a letter from NCIS after she sent all required documentation, affidavit od support etc that she will be notified or scheduled for interview since April 2018. She still waits for a schedule from the US embassy till now. NOv. 20th.

Hello Safwan the popstar, we apply for Dakar Interview, we waited for letter from Embassy/Consular never received one. We did the DS-160, paid the visa fee, and schedule the appointment. It then said to print out that page bring it along with the letter from the Embassy with Instructions of our appointment to the Interview. oI email America Consular at Dakar Immigrant Visa@state.gov. they email us back and said our Interview appointment was confirm. I call spoken with a person American person for Dakar, and they give me email address. They replied back In 24 hours time, and said we will not be receiving anything from the consular, our Interview have been confirmed and to be ready on that date for the Interview. I hope this help answer your question.

Mine was approved in March 2023 and I just got my interview scheduled after waiting patiently for a year and a month. They are backlogged. Normally takes few weeks to few months to have your scheduled my lawyer said who has long experience in immigration law.
Hi I have my interview tomorrow and I would like to ask. On the interview checklist i gathered all the required documents that I have to bring. Still there is one part Im still worried about and that is I have to show evidence of relationship with the petitioner, wich is my mother. I do have copies that we communicate through social media and that we exchanged pictures. But I do not have pictures of me and my mother together. Is that going to be an issue? Thanks 👍

First u have to raise ur right hand and swear to tell the truth and nothing but the the truth, bcus if u dont well they already have ur information. I was there for the F1 visa (immigration) so my interview took 5 or 7 minutes. They asked me about Where I was born, Where I was before coming to Holland, education background, background of my parents like job, age, names, address etc. Also some kind of proof of communication, with my mother, like pictures or chats, like on FB or whatsapp. After that the counselor will tell u if its approved or not. david huynh I received my first appointment letter after 14 years in may 2018 and had my first interview in june. They put my case on administrative processing but after providing them the required documents they again sent me an appointment for owth and biometrics. Finally got my visa last weeks and now ready to travel in next couple of days

You will need to make an appointment yourself but make sure you make an appointment with medical doctor US immigration listed to. They won’t process your visa from other doctors! Wish you the best!
One more thing, they say it takes about 5 days to get the result so make sure you call them up and make an appointment before and give yourself enough time!
Everything basically depends on you. By that i mean they give you step by step instructions as to what they want it is now up to you how long you take to do a certain step

This video contradicts what the website states. It says you do not have to bring any financial documents that were already uploaded.
Depends on visa type. I applied for K1 and it didn’t require any online uploads so my husband will have to bring everything in person
They asked for a "recent" finacial documents to be uploaded on the website & needed to bring during the interview

Originally uploaded, I 864 never expires. You take the latest tax return and W-2 and the one previously submitted.

My moms documents were accepted in October 2022 and her interview date is in April 2023

They asked me about Where I was born, Where I was before coming to Holland, education background, background of my parents like job, age, names, address etc. Also some kind of proof of communication, with my mother, like pictures or chats, like on FB or whatsapp. After that the counselor will tell u if its approved or not. Gave my interview on 7th june and sent the required documents after that, till that my case was in administrative processing, now status at web portal is changed to "READY" mentioning this reason... david huynh I received my first appointment letter after 14 years in may 2018 and had my first interview in june. They put my case on administrative processing but after providing them the required documents they again sent me an appointment for owth and biometrics. Finally got my visa last weeks and now ready to travel in next couple of days

Madeeha HD just got confirmed that I need scanned or photo copies of petitioner's documents e. g tax returns, their US passport copies, salary slips but I have asked my sister to send me her original birth certificate and nikah nama instead of copies

You will need to make an appointment yourself but make sure you make an appointment with medical doctor US immigration listed to. They won’t process your visa from other doctors! Wish you the best!
One more thing, they say it takes about 5 days to get the result so make sure you call them up and make an appointment before and give yourself enough time!
