WIC 50th Anniversary Video

This year marks the Women, Infant and Children (WIC) Program's 50th anniversary. The WIC supplemental nutrition program started in Kentucky in 1974, and ever since has been working to improve the health and well-being of pregnant women, infants, children and families. WIC offers breastfeeding support, nutrition education and counseling, supplemental foods and referrals to other health and social services.
