I am from England and went through the k1 visa after being in a long distance relationship for 3 years. We got approved and I moved to America last month! Getting married on the 28th September ❤️ I watched you guys while we were long distance and helped me through the distance. Thank you guys ❤️
Try using a healing ointment before you put on your ring, even some vaseline. It puts a barrier between the ring and your skin.Maybe just wear it when you go out then take it off when your home.
Best thing I ever bought was a silicone wedding ring. They are soft, super comfortable and come in a million colors and designs. Get one of those. i wear one all the time. I only wear my white gold wedding ring for special occasions.
Gold can be tricky on sensitive skin because of the alloys it contents. Even my silver engagement ring was hard to wear for me at times of high stress levels, because these always show either in psoriasis or atopic dermatitis. When we went to the jeweller to get our wedding rings they recommended me to either use Platinum or Titanium because of my psoriasis and atopic dermatitis. They don't contain any alloys and therefore are uncritical for highly sensitive skin. We went with Platinum and I am as happy as can be with our choice. Maybe you give your skin enough time to heal properly and try one of these metals as an alternative. Silicone of course works too, but I personally preferred a solid metal ring. :)
In regards to the ring, maybe have it altered so it’s more rounded so it doesn’t chafe on your skin or see a doctor and see if it’s some kind of an allergy that’s causing the irritation on the skin. You seem to be saying it’s cutting in so maybe just need a ring that has a very smooth, rounded inside that slide smoothly over the skin, not rubs against the skin. having both worn rings bought for me and purchased wings for ladies, I know that some of them have nice smooth interiors, and some are semi hollowed out having two ridges on the outer edges, and these edges are a little hard and not really rounded smooth proper they could be cutting into your skin.
My cheeks literally hurt from laughing so much! You were very cheeky and goofy and your true selves, and i love it. I'd watch hours of this video! Love y'all! ❤
Regarding the ring issue, it really depends on the reason why the ring bothers your finger. is it due to very dry skin (which gets irritated when you wear it), or is it possibly an allergy to the type of material your ring is made from? You could wear your ring on a necklace, and find another material (or the tattoo you had mentioned) for another wedding ring, which may not bother your finger? It is tough to tell what to suggest from the video's limited details.
When my wife and I first got married we were very poor going through college with loans and working off that that we definitely couldn’t afford the expensive rings so we got small tattoos on our ring fingers with the date and a double band that was interwoven underneath best move we made highly recommend. I don’t have to worry about losing it scratching it or saving up for one I think is good enough for her
Ring rash is a real thing. I’ve had it in the past. It’s dry, at times itchy, and also hurts. Usually it appears in the exact spot the ring is sitting. It can be caused by a substance such as hand soap getting under the ring and causing irritation.
@@SamAndMonica If you find that sometimes it happens, sometimes it doesn’t, and that it goes away when you don’t wear the ring for a while, then ring rash is a possibility. To see if it is an allergy to the ring itself, I suggest cleaning the ring and making sure you rinse and let it dry completely before wear it. Try it on another finger or on the opposite hand. Take it off any time you are going to wash hands, shower, etc. if you experience the exact same symptoms on the other finger despite the precautions, then it may be an allergy to the metal. But if it doesn’t pop up on another finger, it’s probably not the ring itself, just another irritant. Adore you guys ✨hope this helps!
Wear a rubber wedding ring. My wife n I spent thousands on wedding rings but we've discovered wearing rubber ones is more comfortable, we wear the real ones when go to dinners n special occasions but living on a farm it just makes more sense this way for us.
possibly an allergy to an ingredient in the ring. I had the same problem, I was allergic to chrome nickel, of which there were tiny traces in my wedding ring, I then wore the ring on a necklace, then I had skin problems on my neck area. Solved the problem with a 100% titanium ring.
There are great medical grade silicone rings you can get. I like the rings from Enso Rings. They have many cool designs and plain/traditional designs also. 🙂
Keep your wedding band on 24/7 whatever you are doing. When we got married I took it off to do all sorts of stuff and my finger was just like yours. I wanted to wear it so I went all in and just kept it on, my finger just got used to it. It’s now part of me really 18 years later. It’s been down sewers, covered in concrete and everything in between!
Aquaphor should help with healing Sam's ring finger. After it's healed, so it doesn't hurt and irritate it further, wear the ring ALL THE TIME, I know they say to take it off when you go workout and things like that but honestly that's why your finger is irritated because of the constant taking it on and off, plus if you're sweaty and then put the ring back on, it willl just contine to rub against your skin.
Another awesome vlog from the 2 of you. Do you know what would be good, if the 2 of you went back to the haunted road you drove on years ago. And take a drive on it again.
Hi you guys!!! You both look fantastic! 😭🙏🏿❤ And I love your videos Personally, it makes ME uncomfortable when everyone keeps asking you guys about your sex life. If it doesn't bother you guys thats fine, but I just hope it doesn't get outta hand, its been in every sit down video for a while
I just sub'd and am binging to catch up, but this popped up and I have to vote with Sam - Front Clasp! It's like opening a gift on Christmas instead of a torturous agility test.....
For the ring, you could be allergic to the gold so you could maybe look into getting a different metal? I’m not exactly sure which ones are more “hypoallergenic” but I feel like silver (maybe sterling silver) and platinum aren’t as bad maybe? I think I’ve heard that somewhere but can’t remember
I’m having the same issue with my wedding ring. It’s so frustrating. So I’ve started wearing a different ring. And now we’re trying to find a new wedding ring for me.
Hi guys may I suggest coating the inside of your wedding ring with clear nail varnish as a coating/barrier between your ring & finger. I’d get checked out with a dermatologist about the problem
You can’t get water under your ring. I have really sensitive skin. Make sure only to wear it on nights out and make sure your finger is dry and it will be fine.
Change which hand it’s on throughout day. Could also simply change the ring - maybe gold is the issue? If you were allergic I imagine you’d have worse problems but who knows, not super clear how allergies created far as I know - one day you’re just allergic to something. Old man used to love shellfish, then one day developed an allergy to it 🤷🏻♂️ So silver or tungsten or something… Also could use opportunity if you do change rings make it special. Put a saying you both have on it or some quote that has meaning to you two?
My mom recently showed me an old photo of myself (I was maybe 12 or 13?) and I immediately said, "I HATE that picture! HAAAAATE IT!" (Seriously, it's one of the photos I loathe the most.) My mom was so stunned: "What are you talking about? You look adorable!" And I was like, "That is one of the worst pictures of me and I do NOT look adorable! Are we looking at the same photo?" And my mom was so bummed because she liked that photo. She seriously couldn't understand why I don't like it, but I can't help it. I HATE it with a fiery passion. Isn't it weird that two people can look at the same photo and see completely different things? 😆🤣
I'm always watching u two coz i love the chemistry, but now i'm in the lowest point of my life coz my bf suddenly dissapear and i can't reach out him, hope all of u can pray for me 😢
@KryptonitePeter ohh ok just wondering the thought process behind it. I thought maybe u didnt want to give an impression to other women that ur married or sth.. does this mean if ur wife doesn't wear her ring it wouldn't bother you?
@@banished4eva yeah why would it brother me. Before the time when human existed. There were no such things as Valentine’s Day, Easter Day. Halloween Dress nonsense day. I'm adding another vote for a silicone ring, until you figure out what's causing the trouble with your real ring. When I got cancer, I couldn't wear my real wedding ring.
