Blaming Ken Dorsey for this debacle is like blaming the waiter for the food.

I will applaud Stefanski for these moves hopefully now they let him bring in the right personnel that complement his program. He still shouldn’t call plays though.

i dont think they were ever firing stefanski or berry because they have established some level of culture the past 5-6 years. haslam needs to let stefanski pick his own qb and oc and truly run the team from the football side of things.

I would have fired them all, but I understand why they kept them. I dont trust them to draft a qb, nor trade down and eval talent. I dont trust them to develop a young qb either. I expect them to trade down get some trash, start a vet, be mediocre and probably all fired. IMO if they take a qb KS likes and they hit their entire fortune would change. The other path only leads to a tear down imo because you're asking for miracles. While drafting a qb is a miracle, we saw this team make the post season with average qb play. Defense still plays hard but cant hold up when the offense cant score, sustain drives, or put any pressure on the other team to make them get aggressive. You can make an argument right now that if I dropped one of these rookie qbs on this roster today, its not a 3 win football team. I'd say middle of the pack and maybe in the hunt or better if everything goes well. But least you have a future there. A tackle or d line gets you what an extra win maybe 2. So they're a 5 win team. Thats not shitty enough to be in position to get your qb, nor good enough to keep your job. If they drafted a rookie and had around 8 wins, I could live with that.
I see ppl saying draft carter. Hes a great rusher, but what are you going to do with a situational rusher that high in the draft? Legit this is AFC N football. These teams goal is to ground and pound you and ppl like Pete Smith think getting a guy that is a 2nd and 3rd and long type player helps this roster. I'm sure he will be a good player maybe even great, but idk if he fits the brand of football in this division.

I agree with you on Carter. A defensive lineman does not equal wins. The browns just proved that with the best defensive lineman in the world. If pass rushers won games the brown would have more than 3 wins this year. The offense was historically bad and that's gotta be where they start
