Although one of the benefits of the flexibility is that fact it’s easier to install, Subaru do list alongside side many of the handling benefits on the own website: www.sti.jp/en/parts/feature/flexibletowerbar.html

It's not flexible for an easy install. 15 years of R&D went into that design. They found out you don't want the body 100% rigid.

i notice with my , it tends to make abit of a noise while driving at the start

Does this do anything? Do you feel it on highways? Understeer or oversteer?
Do you necessarily notice just this, no but as a handling package extra rigidity is a positive
