Renault megane 1.5dci 2010 clutch problem

    125000 miles
    Clutch pedal went lose within 20 min urban drive.
    Two mechanics said I need clutch kit and fly wheel replacement.
    3d one came and found the problem for just 10 min.
    Barely leaking brake fluid, but caused loosing clutch pedal, as Air entered in the system.
    Current spare part (Ventile) cost £32 genuine OEM from local Renault dealership.
    Hints:
    easy access if remove battery box.
    Battery box comes out with CDU together.
    Air filter has to be removed as well.
    Total time spend 55 min. Including bleeding (removal the air from the system).

    Any other problems with this cars please I heard the injectors are not the best ?

      Got a used part... It's called the clutch resonator...

    Pedal goes down but does not return

      Apparently it’s a filter for the brakefluid

      I did manage to find out it's job, it's actually there to dampen the pulses that return back thru the fluid from the clutch slave cylinder, it doesn't allow the pulses to travel all the way back to the clutch pedal... "Resonator" is what they call it..

      @@amnesialen ive struggled to find a replacement so I’ve done a sketchy bypass with a rubber grommet and some zip ties. It’s holding for now

      @@amnesialen ive seen a diagram where it was called a filter but I think it was a translating issue. I don’t think it’s a necessary part

    Hi, after you change that vacuum valve, how have you done clutch bleeding?
    Because I can’t do it😅, and is so frustrating.
