Gonna be the annoying one with the questions, but are most of these characters playable in Xillia 2 too? Didn't check the cheats table yet but that's because my PC is too weak for RPCS3 and i kinda hope all of these work on Bruteforce too
Yeah pretty much anyone that uses a right-hand weapon is more or less playable with hacks in both games (in fact I have a couple of videos with Cless and Stahn up). Although I do wonder why everyone always seem so interested in doing these in the second game rather than this one, as that one is much more combo-oriented which relies on access to many elements, which majority of the bosses do not have, essentially making tech outs/counters even more frequent 🤔 Unfortunately these need to be done in real-time, so emulator with cheat engine is required, the only thing that can be stored in the save file itself is a custom arte setup.
@@JustSamu thank you for the elaborate answer. I just generally like Xillia 2 more (my favorite Tales game) and spend more time on it learning stuff. Anything that gives me access to more X2 related content is a pure blessing to me. I guess for most people there is no reason to resort to X1 when X2 is just straight up an update with a more elaborate combo stun system.
@@JustSamu I ended up looking in the bestiary and yeah bosses (And the Elite Mons) in X2 have inflated STR and INT stats. Explains why they can kill characters in 2-3 hits. (The final boss has a STR stat above 10000 unless your playing on Easy, then it's "only" in the 9000s.)
Looking at it now, I'm just realizing how ridiculous his moveset looks. The music really enforces it. One handed shotgun. This is pretty hilarious.
Interesting sidestep animation. Also cute of Ivar to dodge one of those last Banishing Ray hits.
The og Quick Flicker! It's always amusing seeing the AI perform perfect backsteps (unless its the final boss lol)
Damn Gilland's got some nice moves

His animations are... peculiar lol (what the hell is that front step). He looks like he is made of rubber band
XD a rubber band that's just very extra!
...the fact that this guy is the ONLY character not recycled into X2 says a lot huh? (And that game is like 90% reuse)
90% re-use yet somehow they still managed to make majority of the main story fights suck 😩
