@@ArizonaLifestyles1 This reply. 5* Bravo. Great video :)
What kind of emulsion do you use?
Could this also be used in exposing a photopolymer plate? Thank you!
I don’t know maybe
Can it burn halftones perfectly as uv exposure unit?
I haven’t done many half tones / but I don’t see why not as long as you burn it long enough
I’ve worked a lot with halftones on an exposure unit. Typically you want to expose it less than you would normally. We’ve found that regular exposure time makes the dots blow out way too easily.
Does that also work with an LED floodlight?
@@timschaider3947 I don’t know if it works with LED let me know it might have something to do with halogen…
Thak you for sharing! Question: after each exposure you remove the screen then put it in a box, why is that? TIA
I didn’t want to expose it anymore with natural light until I washed it out - thanks for watching
Well at least from what I remember - it’s been over a year :)
Does it matter how tall the box is?
I don’t think so I just had a free cabinet - as long as you can fit a piece of glass on it and a light it should be good :)
@@ArizonaLifestyles1 Does the thickness of glass matter?
@@johnd1375 not from what I could tell … just can’t be tinted … maybe someone else would be more of an expert on here than me :)
what is the distance between the bulb and the glass?
I mounted the light right in the middle of a 10-12” cabinet so with the housing on the light about 4-5 “
Why you dont use an flamethrower! It would be easier
I got one of those - LOL -
@@ArizonaLifestyles1 I bet you do 😂🤌😅
@@areseses1773 more of a propane weed torch … but that flame goes out 2 feet full blast …. But that’ll burn out those screens in 1 second LOL …
Is this UV light or normal halogen lamp please tel us sir
Normal halogen lamp nothing special
Good Vid, and the project worked out well!
Thanks ! The first screen was under exposed ... if you make this ... leave your screens on for two minutes :)
Why do you need glass?
You could use plexiglass I guess … glass is clear and you need something clear to transfer the light through
Height of the box sir?
Hight of that would be 12” since I used an old upper cabinet and laid it on its back
Halogen does got hot?
@@safwankhanzarir yes overtime but I really don’t have it on for a long time …
3 mins in the sun??? haha 45 seconds over burns for me
It’s a learning process !
put your caulk in the box!
Size of glass in mm??
No clue
Just use free Amazon boxes and tape , that’s all
