i’ve re-downloaded UFC 2 months ago & haven’t touched UFC 4 since. the stumble animations on leg kicks are so brutal not even the new UFC 5 animations look as good
The movement is smoother than UFC 4 half the time. And some finishes were so smooth with the punches as they’re wobbled and falling. The angles of the punches are better there

even the punch animations in general, they look sloppier, less perfect, like how it is in real life in ufc 4 and 5 it looks like you're hitting pads perfectly

This game combined with UFC undisputed 3 (not to be confused with EA UFC 3) would be the perfect UFC game. UFC undisputed 3's grappling is on another level.

Being able to follow up a brutal knockout with (unnecessary) strikes is a part of the fun of the game. If I wanted to be a real UFC fighter, I wouldn't be playing video games multiple hours a day.
I'm okay with that but I think they should keep it to backyard/kumite mode. Outside of that, I think it's best for them to try to recreate a realistic MMA experience.
I swear i played all the ufcs.. 1 had good camera angles and was really fast, the 2nd had amazing ragdoll physics and had this interesting damage system that worked off combos.. 3 updated the whole fighting system and was a new and fresh experience.. 4 expanded on 3 and felt more interactive..
Gotta be honest they gotta bring back these fencing response clean KOs some of them look dumb but I think if you could just put that on a momentum system so people don't fall forward after getting spin kicked in the face, it would feel more rewarding
These KO animations are probably the best I've seen from any of the UFC games. Apart from some of the exaggerated stumbling that kinda looks like something you'd see in a comedy or cartoon or something. And I've never played this one Only once or twice. Neither for an extended period of time I don't think. Don't remember ever seeing a KO take place when I did. I've played 3 and 4 And I've seen the KO animations from 2. Those are great if you like over the top ridiculous KOs. I don't think I want that in an Mma game. Not one that's supposed to be realistic.
