Arrived at Hochenheim qualifying in 92 just in time to the AM lorry leaving the circuit. I read the tale of Perry McArthy turning up at AM offices and they didn't know who he was and he had to point to his picture on the wall behind reception. Probably a good thing they didn't last any longer and no-one got hurt!

With respect to the French truck strike, I suspect Sassetti didn't want to get around the picket line. I can't see a self-respecting French trucker stopping Formula One trucks. Yes, French strikes tend to be militant (bunch of work-shy lamb-burning communist peasants), but there are limits.
