What is grit is how she forged a 40 year career at the top of the charts despite being mocked by the media relentlessly, sometimes slaughtered by it.. And they're still at it over her surgery (and no doubt "fans" are moaning about it too.) She'll only be fully appreciated when she's gone.. She's too dangerous.

She looks very inocent (yes in many ways) and she was back then more inocent and very sweet in many aspects. She was new, and still learning the "how to". Here without the super production of that she has now, and her voice is not great here, but still she was and had and still has something very especial, and with or without a big production she always fills the stage. It's very interesting be seeing how she has changed through her career, and how the self showbiz, medium has changed her. I think she definitely has conquered the world, it was her dream and goal, she must be very very proud of her career. Love her.
