    Kao's chop blocks and taps are simply AMAZING i really admire him, but at the same time Lin's cool calm composure WOW they both played amazing and blew my mind other than that im lovin how Kao reacts to that service at 5:48

    You have to admire Lin Shidong. 0-2 down under relentless attack by Kao, Lin doesn't panic. He carefully constructs points, playing within himself. Kao gets increasingly desperate, those 50-50 shots that were going in earlier are now 40-60 because he's playing too hard, too fast. He needs to slow down a tad. In the end, Kao is just tossing point away in search of being able to put the ball away.

      @@charlesgaultier9891I also believed he did start panicking in a sense. If you compare set 1 to set 5, he is a lot less careful about his position after serving, and seems to always be a little bit too late on the ball.

    He need more involve in the international tournament.

    You can see the style of two different young players. Lin Shidong was very smooth and played like effortlessly. Kao hit the ball so hard and waste so much energy, thus result in more errors in later sets.

    kao cheng jui is an incredible young player but it seems he doesn’t know how to control his energy well enough he uses it all in the early sets and at the end of the game loses his gas and starts hitting worst quality shots, moves slower and doesn’t play like he does in early sets

    Kao played really very very well. He has talent in BH and a lot of speed to counterattack with FH. I think he can improve physical power and resistence, which he will gain muscle in the pro life. Also, a benefit will be the increase of spin on his shots. It will hurt more the pro's block and rise his accuracy in the rallies.

    Table tennis at the top level is 70% mental. Kao Cheng Jui was incredible in the first 3 games but when he lost game 3 narrowly, he seems to dwell on it too much and loses focus - thus quickly losing game 4 and letting Lin Shidong lead early in game 5. But this kid has lots of potential - if he trains hard and improves mental side of things, he could be a LYJ level player for Taiwan.

    Kao employed punching and countering topspin with topspin well the first two sets. Then, he lost set three by opening attack first and Lin swapped role. Then on Kao could not find himself. Kao then played directionless! His team should call a timeout at one third of set three. Kao’s backhand is deadly. Congratulations to Kao, he will be a great contributor to Korea’s Tram.
    Congratulations to Lin, he held up well.

      @@reinaldopessoa2603 that's true, but there's a noticeable gap between FZD, ML, and Liang JK vs Lin and China only wants its best to represent, one that will never lose to a non-Chinese. He's not there yet, but of course still has 3-4 years to prove himself.

    Today's table tennis is all about the mindset and stamina to play aggressively with consistent high-quality shots. Kao still lacks the stamina. Lin likes to rely on his touch and play safe. When he attacks he makes a lot of errors compared to top players.

    wtf the Chinese resilience is fkin unreal! Kao was looking so strong in the first two games, but during game 3 you could actually tell how uncomfortable he actually was. You could tell from losing the deuce that he did not want to play Lin an extra game. And all throughout game 6, that look of defeat on Kao's face every point, was when he realized Taiwan as still but a small island to China.
