My back gets sore a lot when I'm making bracelets and I just try to sit straight up against a wall and make the bracelet if that starts hapening, it might be a little uncomfortabel but it works!
I been making bracelets for a while and i find it best when you sit in a chair that has back support and that you don't lead forward or sit straight but rather have a relax position leaning a bit back

when your making regular bracelets like the striped ones, if you don’t want to do double knots u don’t have to, the stripes will just be a lil thinner :-))

I find it best to sit on a couch or a soft seat so you can put your knee up and make the bracelet without it hurting your back
