I think Bongos are beyond beautiful. Their markings are amazing. I notice that the color of their manes matches their stripes! I did not hear the name of the keeper teaching us about Bongos today, but I want to say that she is very knowledgeable about Bongos and obviously cares very much about Stevie and Addy. (I know that most of the keepers care very much for their charges). Also the camera work is very good, and I could hear her very clearly, both of which make for much better viewing. Thank you for showing us these magnificent, gorgeous animals. I hope one day to see them in person at the Zoo. Wishing you all good health and happiness.
I like how the zoo keep them together. Mother and daughter in the same enclosure. It probably helped them to feel at ease, surrounded by other animals and people on a foreign soil.
It is quite sad so many species such as these bongo's are endangered. I'm very grateful for the existence of AZA zoo's conservating species & hope they all get the help they need during these challenging times!!
