Number 1 mistake people make when they go to Blue Mountains is that they just drive around lookouts. You have to go down to one of the valleys so I'm glad you guys did the Grand Cannyon walk 🙌
You're right, the lookouts were great but there's nothing better than fully immersing yourself in the beautiful landscapes with a hike. 🥾 From our whole lap of Aus so far our longer half/full day hikes are always standouts. The Grand Canyon walk was stunning and a stand out for the day.
I live on sublime point road in leura , I have a massive flat double parking bay that you could stop at… Plus showers power etc. also could have shown you round lots of spots
For anyone wondering, the cost at Scenic World depends on the day, and can be over $60. It is a day pass though, so you can go on the railway, skyway and cableway as many times as you want. They do advise you to book online in advance, so as to avoid disappointment during busy periods. It is the easiest way down and up if you want to explore the land at the bottom of the cliffs without having to expend a lot of energy going down and then back up all the stairs. It is also free parking and free to wander around, if you just want to watch.
