The funny thing about Stratford was that they never had an allocation of 31/4's, yet they always seemed to have one to 'chuck out' on the Liverpoool Street - Kings Lynn's when required! Keep up the good work 😎
Well done Mike, Awesome Presentation as per - Absolute Quality Rolling Stock and not over Smothered in Sleeper Grime, tho I am Intrigued by the Blue livery coaches, which I see Popping up all over the place but Cannot place, back in the mists of time🤔
Thanks very much indeed ☺️ the coaches are by Hornby from a Bluebell set of some kind, I purchased them at the Bluebell shop back in around 2011 www.hattons.co.uk/71808/hornby_r2891_bluebell_railway_pack_with_sr_terrier_0_6_0_stepney_and_maunsell_brake/stockdetail
Mike, most entertaining and (presumably) a lot of hard work. Colin 👍 _Spotted 31 409 as it passed through Ewhurst Green on the way down from Finsbury Park!_ 😀
A bit of a mixture, was it 1882 with all the horse and carts or 1982 with the class 31 😃? My wife and I got married in 1982 and she wanted a horse and carriage for the wedding. We had great difficulty finding one, because they didn't do that then, but we got one and started a trend.
Nice one. Those white metal kits came out well. All soldered? I do like that blue livery on the maunsell coaches. I have a book somewhere of the Bluebell through the years. I think there are other coaches in that original Bluebell livery in it.
Well, I have a huge archive of recordings going back to the 70s or I use the soundtracks from videos I've shot. Failing that I sometimes ask kind TH-camrs if I can lift some sounds from their videos in exchange for linking back and crediting them
@@ModelRailwaysUnlimited wow you must have a huge library of sounds I’d really like to get more myself For now I’ll just have to use an old cd I got years ago from the bluebell railway

Good point! I meant to say Finsbury Park but got mixed up, ah well was April 1st
Nice one. Some very interesting camera work here. Good to see the kit-built road vehicles too.
Glad you enjoyed it, first one to notice the horses 🐎 😀
Some great shots here Mike... many thanks...
Many thanks!
One of your very best Mike. Many thanks for commissioning this one, with a Big thumbs up to you and the camera crew. Cheers, Greg, down-under, NZ.
Cheers Greg, really appreciate the support 🙂🙏

Thanks very kindly, yes it was fun making 😀
Nice sound editing there Mike, watched it a few times now, that 31 is mesmerising, looks like a smooth runner.
Thanks 👍 yes she is silky smooth
Love your mix of video and sound. We did notice the horse. No nay sayers here. Bill and Janet from California
Haha lol well done and thank you
Well, you had me convinced 😊👍
Haha 😂 glad you enjoyed

Haha well done on starting the trend

Thanks for the info, yes all soldered was a big lesson for sure
@@ModelRailwaysUnlimited looks like a neat job! And stronger than glue. They should last year's :)
@@Night_Ferry fingers crossed 🤞
Hi Mike
I love the train sounds that accompany your videos
Where can I get them from as I’m a novice and only have DC

@@jonswinfield9336 good luck, are you thinking of using the sound on TH-cam?
