Awesome video Tristian! What size sprockets are you running on your bike, and what is the top speed you think? I modified my 2010 TF-125 into a dual sport racer. I had a set on Honda XL-250R air shocks and tripple clamp lying around, so I fitted them to the bike. Also fitted the XL-250R fuel tank I had, after market rear air shocks as well. I sourced as Suzuki TS-125ER barrel, as the TS-125ER ports are larger than the TF's. The TS-125ER barrel was honed and bored out to 2.0mm OS, with new piston, rings, and Boyesen fibre reeds. Also fitted a larger free flow silencer as the TF's silencer is very restrictive. Also installed a pod air filter. Could send you through some pics of my bike if you like? Cheers, Evan.
Hi there,my boy and I brought a mudbug, but no key or on off.any suggestions as to get it to run..the screw driver works back with vibration and she stops,,re colours of the wires that need joining and where to find them? Thanks heaps if anyone can help..
Yep it started and rode! Was an awesome little around town pocket rocket, It didn't do over 90kph but was perfect for buzzing around on. I sold it on to a pilot in Tauranga NZ and have yet to catch up with him about it!
@@fcreativeimaging mint! nice work. I'm just about to start doing exactly the same thing to a mudbug, might have to hit you up for some wiring tips. Did you get any footage of it before it went??
That is the best TF 125 I've ever seen good work 💯👍
TF125! the pinacle of nz farm bikes!
It is haha, it was a fun project turning a kiwi classic mudbug into a cafe racer!

Hey bro! Sick videos! I'm building one of these here in NZ as well. Did you get it roadlegal?
Yes I have, kinda haha registered it as a farm bike which can legally travel up to 15 km away from the house.
Definitely would’ve looked better with a bit of a fatter seat on it but the rest of the bike looks mint
