- Indiana Fever Star Caitlin Clark just gave a bitter response to Minnesota Lynx and Team USA coach Cheryl Reeve. Reeve has in many occasions dismissed Caitlin Clark but Fever beating them in their home ground speaks volumes. How could she deny this is the Caitlin Clark era! WNBA should just embrace this rare talent that has brought so much change to women's basketball.

Here's the facts: Clark loves her fans and wanted to put on a good show for them. She got frustrated vs the #1 defense for 3 quarters and then had a brilliant 4th qtr to help her team pull out the upset win. She loves to win over any stats that fans praise or denounce her for. The win made her happy not a double double streak. How hard was that to tell the truth... bot?? Do better research on the next video and dump the bot voice it is very tacky.
GREAT win by the Fever! Pisses me off that they lost to the Washington Mystics on the 10th. The W(WE)NBA has some serious issues if a head coach, Cheryl Reeve, can have that type of attitude. There's no hiding her disdain for Caitlin. But her tone sure did change after the game.

It was a great, pivotal play by Mitchell for sure, but watch it again. Clark plays great defense on the right side of the would be Lynx shooter and forces that girl to change her shot process which set Mitchell up to get the block.
The truth is, Clark is not being defiant, she is simply having fun, playing the game, she loves, and inviting the crowd to join in her excitement and post game celebration. She has too much class to be vindictive.

What about the coaches comments to begin with. Again, unprecedented treatment for a rookie. It is not CC’s fault she is getting this sort of treatment. Her talent, demeanor, and competitive spirit are what draw fans to her game. Clearly the fans and their opinions are not welcome by several WMBA coaches and players. What has she done to deserve this treatment, absolutely nothing. But as you are starting to see she will fight back when she is fed up. Who wouldn’t!

People have to relax. Liking someone doesn't mean you can't be objective about any particular performance. How the hell is 5-17 noteworthy or a statement game. If cc play was in response to the coaches comments than I would do it before every game because 5-17, 3 reb and 6 assist is a subpar performance for CC.
