Noooooo my secret build that boosted me to diamond…. Also forgot to mention that scorched enemies (burn from E) deals 3% max HP as magic or true dmg depending on stacks, so “broken” into tanks and tanky comps. Also why terminus and trinity is superior to other options, the omnivamp from ult and conq and rune make up for the lost healing from the divine sunderer.
Depends on enemy jungler if you're facing for ex. Lee sin high probability he'll steal blue+ by the time you full clear the jgl you're lvl 5 and can gank bot
Taking red first is slightly faster first clear, but you need to recall for mana and have no map pressure, only spike to item and lvl 5 faster... Blue buff first allows you to pressure more early game and setup ganks before enemies recall for items, depending on the champion, but let's say ideal scenario ; blue buff into blue side clear, into wolves, into red buff, into to stones... now you are almost level 5, you have almost full mana, and you have red buff for a few minutes... just appearing in bot lane is enough to leech xp for 5.. so if you can get into bot lane unseen, there's a high chance of an easy gank 3 vs 2, where you still have your ult left after the kills, to invade enemy blue / rotate to mid... or of course recall and buy items then run down opposite lane (as blatant as this is, majority of the time it will catch enemy out, your boot spike this early while just being seen opposite side of the map, will give baron lane false confidence) IF you can gank and recall quick enough... if not, just gank duo, into scuttle crab, then linger mid to help your ally recall etc, either way, you have many options depending on what allies and enemies are doing, while starting red buff is restricted and relies solely on enemy making mistakes for you to be able to do anything at all in the early game... The other option is to start red side, stones, red, wolves, pop the vision plant, into enemy blue, gromp, scuttle crab.. but this way is far more risky, and the only payoff is denying enemy 2 camps, while you are forced to recall and path to your own blue side, in this time your enemy could potentially invade, which is one of the risks in the play, or enemy could already be in their own blue side and if their ally assists your invade turns into a free death... think of it like this ; Start red into full clear = efficient farming for late game scaling style Blue into red full clear = early game map presence and flexible to adapt to enemies and allies Red into invade enemy blue = high risk for potential early game snowball into mid game advantages
adaptive force only chooses one right so it's not like gathering storm gives u ad and ap so idk if how much ap it gives is worth cause you're only really getting the damage from the ap by terminus or riftmaker rather than just triumph chain killing and surviving with the % health relating to heartsteel or steraks healeth stacking so it really does seem more viable to go triumph
Gathering storm is never "worth it" even in games when it is... it's a rune that only has value in the late game, so games where you need that extra AD/AP, you lose because you don't have enough, games you don't need it and are winning anyway, the extra ad/ap is worthless anyway lol 😂 Now, saying that makes it sound like gathering storm is always bad, which is not the same as saying "worth it" It is always a good rune, just never op... Now more to the point... I would say its better used for ap champions, mostly because most ap items have pen, so that extra little bump of ap is actually impactful, while for ad champions, even after 20 minutes it adds so little ad that it's barely impactful, for skirmish/sustain bruisers, like Yone or Darius maybe, it works well, because they can build a defensive item while still gaining ad in that time, or build sustain items rather than full damage.. but these 2 champions specifically have much better options for runes, so again it doesn't work well for them....then we could say, varus, lucian, ezreal, these champions have flexible build options and do mixed damage, so building ad for boots and first item, gathering storm will do very little, but then if you build ap items 3rd 4th 5th, suddenly at 4 item spikes you actually have a nice amount of ap.. but again, these are mixed damage champions, so the adaptive scaling doesn't necessarily help/hinder them, it just focuses the damage one way or another, and at that point, the enemy defenses are the deciding factor... example ; you build gathering storm varus, vamp boots, terminus, into ap items... if all five enemies build mercs, all your gathering storm achieves is giving their boots much more value 😂 where as triumph or brutal would give you a slight edge at level 1, and still have actual benefit in the late game.. I think the only time gathering storm is the best option for any champion, is if you have a difficult matchup and need to have a cautious build path, perhaps you are the main AD source on team but need to build tanky to survive lane ; you win lane, but fall off and have no impact late game, well with G.Storm, boots and 2 defensive items, you can build 3 attacking items and still have noticeable damage at late game, but again, this is entirely locked to the fact the game needs to be long for it to be any good... if you can win early game, taking g storm may be the reason you don't!! Where as a good rune should be opposite, 'you can't win early game but this rune means you can' PS heartsteel + Titanic + overgrowth = ALOT LOT more ad than G.Storm can ever give you... a 15 minute game with that setup 👆 is more ad than offensive build G.Storm after 35 mins 😂 overgrowth > G.Storm
@@tmithoth8956holy. Bro stop writing essays. Anyway, gathering storm is good, but niche. Its the worst in any other scenario. But on carry support champs? Something like a support swain? Its great, you dont farm so thay rune gives the AP you need. You dont die and u dont let the enemy end the game, so the games are 30 minute long. You get HP from passive, HP from heartsteel, convert them to AP with projector. Then get 80~ AP from gathering storm then multiply all that AP with rabadon. Also you get twinguard to be way too tanky. Now at full build you have 8000HP, 800AP, 250 Armor immortal. And you still can scale.

Yeah but the point is that w was always a strong early level for the clear. I just tried it out btw and came to the conclusion that min maxing 2 seconds won’t get anywhere.

I really like to see this kind of video. Please do more of this. It’s very helpful to see how good players play at certain times and why they do it.

Grab a random champion.

Any specific reason to go blue buff over red first with Shivana? I assumed red would speed up clear. Or just want the option for bot gank?
