I "thought" I wanted a set of Iroks...but after your last video, the walk around, and now seeing them not hooking up, I am moving my thinking to other brands. Thanks for this series.
I’ve always wanted a set of those too. I thought they would work really well. We are shocked about how bad they actually are. 😢. Glad you saw the videos to change your mind!
@@Ohio_offroad_adventures ya. We got excepted to be in some TH-camr area of the Moore expo. It’s an overlanding event in Missouri. Had to make the call on what to go it. We’ve done Moab many times and never been to the Moore expo so we’re going to give it a shot. Moab another time.
We ran The Maze two years ago, and like you, we also got lost. We never did find The Drop. The vertical climbs out there really get you attention! I lost oil pressure on a couple of those climbs. We did climb "You Gotta Be Nuts", and I set the front of the my CJ up on the climb to the left of it, "You're Absolutely Nuts", or something like that. No way that was gonna happen! Looks like you two had a great time! 😁
You will have to go find “The Drop” here in a couple weeks. Once you kinda get to the trail it’s off on the right. Kinda doesn’t make sense where it’s at but look for it. And it’s definitely called the maze for a reason. 😆. And I’ve look at “you’re absolutely nuts” and that’s a big NO! for me too. Hope you had fun in Moab last week and have a blast in sandhollow in a few weeks!!
I swear if it wasn’t for you guys my lunch breaks would suck really looking forward to hitting trails with you guys one day when your back in state #teamohio
Pounds per square inch on the footprint is much higher on your JKU than the YJ. In the land of traction that is a huge win & not always a disadvantage (IMO). Great driving & Video Guys!
Thanks man! And that PSI difference does make sense and I started to think about it that way too. But then I get confused when the comp buggies that way 2800lbs make it up stuff super easy like that. 🤷♂️. Might just be completely different. Thanks for watching. And I’ll have to do some math to really figure that all out. 😆
The more I see the more I want to get out there! I don't know how nuts I'm feeling, I don't know if I wanna do it right now, I'm not doing it.....2 seconds later, Proceeds to do it!!! LOL
Thanks! And I’m going full hydro on the TJ thing. I’ve seen and heard about a lot of the TJ steering boxes breaking or cracking frames with the bigger 40+ inch tires. So I just want to be safe and go full hydro off the bat. Didn’t want to spend $3000 in a hydro assist kit now and have it break and have to upgrade to full hydro for another $3000. Just trying to “buy once cry once.”
Enjoying the Sandhollow videos, the perfect adult playground. Thanks for the video and go BUCKS!
Thanks man. And that is a very good way to put it “Adult Playground” love that! GO BUCKS!

Great video!! Sand hollow looks like so much fun.
Thanks man. And definitely take a slight detour before coming back from Moab and check it out. 😆. Also have a good trip!
@@Ohio_offroad_adventures last minute change of plans for us and Moab. Decided to no go.
@@leemen ahhh that kinda sucks. I decided not to go next week either. 😢.

That’s awesome and thanks so much for watching the vids!!
Looks cool out there.
Absolutely love that area. If housing cost wasn’t so high out there we would love to move there.
Some cheek squeez'n!
Absolutely man. I’m so happy Jeff ran you gotta be nuts!
You talked me up too much in that video about my driving🤣🤣
Nonsense. Best driver I know!!

@@Ohio_offroad_adventures the comp buggies have loaded tires f&r about 200-300lbs in each tire.

Definitely take the trip! And I’m shocked he actually ran it! 😆 I wasn’t even peer pressuring him at all. But I’m super glad he did it!
Enjoy your videos. Are you doing full hydro or assist on the TJ/LJ and would love to hear why you u pick one over the other during the build.

Makes sense to me. How are the driving characteristics with full hydro in comparison to assist on road.
@@mware11 it’s just weird. No real feedback from the road and the steering wheel will wander on you.
