- The please wait problem only occurs in LG Blu Ray players. The solution is very simple. Replace the home theater motherboard with the same exact part. There is simply no other way to do it.
But before that you can learn how to reset your LG home theater but I seriously doubt that it will solve that problem.

I have just applied hot air by a hair dry, close contact, for 2 full minutes, onto the three chips: one behind the black metal passive cooler, and two nearby chips. It worked like a charm! Just disassemble the mainboard, remove passive cooler from behind the mainboard, and apply heat onto those three chips. I hope that works for you two!

Have you ever repaired one of These lhb725 with the overheat Problem? The Fan Looks Like does not Work...and the Volume Turns automaticly down...Hope you can Help me...and i Hope too that i don't have to Change the Board!
You have no other choice. The only solution is to change the main board.

I thought maybe I'd have hold down like function for 10 seconds when press power button, but changing the main board is way way easier and only takes 10 seconds :)

I fixed mine, by using hot air gun on the main processor. It's working good now.
Mate, you saved mine! Hair dryer round the proccesor for abit and it's golden! I imagine just some cold joints that needed abit of tlc.
@@lachlanob The original heat pad under the heat sink is under performing due to age, hence allowing heat to affect solder joints of processor. Therefore, for a more lasting solution, replace with thermal paste nicely spread on the processor, then fix the heat sink and you are good to go.

I had this problem on an LG LHB336 blue ray player. The first electronics place I took it to wanted $245 to fix but then they kept it 3 1/2 months and still couldn't fix it. The second place said it needed a "system control kit" and fixed it in a week for $80. Go figure. There are a lot of crooks out there.

Il faut juste chauffer le carte mere avec soit un decapeur thermique sois un sèche cheveux ou sinon à mettre au four à 180 degrés il vas avoir un effet mécanique sur toute les micros soudure de toute façon je me suis dit foutu pour foutu autant essayer et âpres 2 essai de chauffe il c'est remis en hdmi1 !!!

Hey guys! I solved the problem. Tried to put the mainboard in the oven for 30 minutes at 130C °. Let it cool down and then put it back in place. It sounds stupid but it worked for me! Covers the plastic parts with aluminum foil. Good luck to you

I used a heat gun on my main board at 200 ° C for about 5 minutes and it went back to work. Mine is a LG HB906SBW model

My second LG product , both seldom used , both broke down , absolute Rubbish. Mine have this please wait message - and i rather get a hammer than spend money on a new motherboard. Never ever LG again , not helpfull at all.

Are you insane, what is simple about replacing a motherboard?????? If you want to buy it as a spare part, it is more expensive then whole stupid system. Be clever in the future, don't buy "all in one", get yourself little amp with two decent speakers what you can keep forever and if you need DVD or BluRay, keep buying new when they pack up

I think you meant HT806 of which the part number is EBR72114873.
There are many variations of this model. Some have blietooth and others dont. Some have wireless rear speakers while others dont. Tweet me @techsawa with a picture of the model number sticker and I will give you the exact spare part you are looking for.
