Mushrooms rule, man! I definitely pick up the mushroom on my Fougere Gothique soap and splash. This is one of my favorite scents. And I agree, hard to describe this scent. Great shave. 👍
The polarizing scents are the best ones imo cause it separates them from the pack! yeah that was a last minute decision that turned out great. thanks bro
Curious how you feel about Leviathan. I recently picked it up and damn(!), I can't get enough of it. It wasn't love at first sniff, but the dry down on it is something special.
I love the Gothique set 🔥. I would still love to grab the edp for it. We can’t get the edp for all of our soap sets though, we gotta leave some cash for the hardware 🤣
There’s not as many dark Fougères if you think about it. It has an ashy vibe to it without being overpowering. It smelled earthy without smelling “dirty”. It was well blended enough that I can’t pick out many individual notes personally. That’s why it shines for me . I got a sample of the Neroli & lemon forward Angelique that I enjoyed as well

So I tried a sample and although I liked it I wanted more coffee out of it so I passed on it for that reason. I can see why so many enjoy it though!

Hmm, the mushroom may be more subdued in the soap. Maybe consider the EDP instead of the splash :)
