As someone who has just written the HSK 4, this video can be useful for the reading section. As mentioned in other comments, try and find the pronunciation elsewhere and especially from native speakers. Also, put these words into a dictionary because some of the translations are a little off.

Yeah, the problem with the text-to-speech function is that it doesn't pronounce or enunciate words the way a native speaker would. While this video is a vocabulary builder and not a pronunciation trainer, it's still going to mess up the pronunciation of anyone who doesn't know how these words should actually be pronounced...Definitely recommend finding videos with actual human native speakers saying the words, so that you can hear the exact pronunciation and also see the movement of a native speaker's mouth as they say the words.
somehow, some hanzi has a different stroke compared to the normal simplified chinese hanzi. like 房 and 怜. Be careful in reading the hanzi. But overall, this video is useful to review your vocab. Thanks

this is too hard to memorize for me, I have seen it tens of times, but only got 5% or so of the words. I think the vocab quiz really helped in previous HSKs

A bigger problem are the recordings. Obviously the voice is from a robot and not a human, which creates just more confusion for my ears. Many words are pronounced unclearly and don't consider the tones (for example at 21:51 然而 . ) What the hell is this supposed to be? Why using a ROBOT ?
Why there is no alphabet we cant just memorize all the structures ..how will we remember the lines in specific place...i need help..i have to pass hsk4...

this is a good method but please correct some translations. 十分 = ten parts. Is it a joke? :-D
