Ahh Bad Omens. My gateway to Sleep Token. Noah has a beautiful voice. This is one of their "radio" songs if you will. The farther back you go, the more metalcore they are. If you like this one, try out The Grey, Concrete Jungle, Kingdom of Cards, Limits, maybe not your vibe but Dethrone slaaappps🤣
I love Bad Omens and I'm surprised no one else has suggested "Like A Villian" yet, but it's a MUST! Also "The Death of Peace of Mind" is the title track off the album of the same name and it's a BANGER! 🔥🔥
The title of the song is "Just Pretend", instead of Just Pretending. Loved the video, always enjoy the lyric analysis🔥 keep it up man you're doing great
Came and stayed for Ren, but I also *love* Bad Omens :) ..and Sleep Token ... and Falling in Reverse :) Seriously though the album this song comes from is truly no skip fire. The Grey, The Death of Peace of Mind, and Like a Villain are all standouts. They were young in love, a masked gunman invaded their house. In the ensuing struggle the gunshot got some of his face but the bullet hit her in the neck. She survived but was in a coma - he was reliving their good times with her. She woke up but he's not the person he was. That's how I understand the MV.
lol! Girl gets shot and dies - entire theme of the song, but missed. That's like watching Sixth Sense and missing where we hear the quote "I see dead people".
Another band to deep dive, im a huge bad omens fan He's in a memory lab, reliving the memories. She did die which is why he's in the menory lab, so he can relive the memories. Bad omens is very straight forward with their lyrics, not like sleep token where it's all full of metaphors. Sometimes you need to let the songs play a little longer before you try to dissect it, no disrespect intended. I recommend Nowhere to Go next, unless you want heavier, older bad omens then I recommend glass houses. Dethroned is one that get recommend a lot but it cant listen to it. He talks about dethroning God and spitting in his face.
@ as a Christian I can not listen to it. I’ve tried because of how much I love bad omens. There are lines my spirit won’t allow me to cross and that’s my own personal thing. Unc also comes from the Christian faith so I was warning him and leaving up to him to decide. 💜
Thank yall both! I’ll have to check it out now for sure lol! I’ve been in that position with God so maybe I can relate. And maybe an opportunity to share some more on the religious side of my beliefs.
The Grey is amazing too but personal favourite is Artificial Suicide. BAD OMENS don't miss just like Sleep Token
The Grey, Dethrone, The Drain and yes Artificial Suicide are some of my faves!
AAAHHH I AM SO HAPPY YOU ARE REACTING TO THIS!! I AM SEEING THEM IN 23 DAYS WOOHOO
Well let’s get it!! And enjoy yourself!!

This is one of the songs/bands that got me back into the rock/nu metal scene since the early to mid 2000s.
Thank you for the content Unc
Appreciate you as well! Guess I’m back in the rock scene as well lol

But he has a reason for dethroning God and spitting in his face though.

@@darcystcorner2580 Unc has however stated multiple times that he has been much less of a believer as of recent years.
@@DjDarkD I'm aware and it was just a heads up
