Happy new year 🎆🎊🎈 super ? What’s the best hight to put up a backdrop as I am 5.4 super short but I want it to be not too short but reachable for me thanks in advance
I think the height of a backdrop depends on how you are using it and what you are comfortable doing. If you are creating a photo op for people to stand in front of I would suggest a backdrop that is at least 7 feet tall so the people in the photo are completely surrounded by the backdrop. If the backdrop is behind a table I think it could be shorter. The other thing to keep in mind is who will be using the backdrop and what will their experience be. Always stay safe when setting up! Even though I'm pretty tall, I still carry a step ladder with me on set-ups, so I am not standing on chairs or tables to reach something. Good luck with your party set-up!
Would the PVC stand you make for be strong enough to hold this? What about if it was outside? Thank you for all of the great videos! They're so helpful!
I have attached fabric to the back in two different ways. Either pin black backdrop fabric directly to the plastic mesh of the boxwood wall or slip the backdrop fabric onto a pole and zip tie that pole to the one holding the boxwood wall.
Wow!! What a brilliant idea! I was looking for a way to make a green wall as a divider for my living room. A stand solves all my problems! Thank you so much for your video!
You could easily add a neon sign to the boxwood wall! If it is a large sign I would tie it directly to the stand. If it is a small one you could tie it to the boxwood grid. The important thing is to not add too much weight to any one square of the grid to prevent it from ripping.
I have a front porch and everyone and their momma can look over when they walk past. Looking for something I can use with ease for privacy when I sit out. I just may try this.😊
If I want to order a 10 x 8 ft Heavy Duty Backdrop Banner Stand Kit, it has to support the weight of the buis, typically, 11 pounds is the max. can you tell us the total weight of the wall, I am looking to make 10 large by 8 tall. and trying to figure which type of stand kit to order for the wight and use in an expo stand as backround wall. Thanks
great information!! I followed the link to the backdrop stand and yours looks a little different. Did you cut the top pieces for it to slide in like that?
They have updated the stand design since I made this video. I have both the old and new versions from efavormart and love the new design change they made to the top. I don't have to worry about bending the little metal slot on top anymore.
On the Efavormart listing I used the "Faux Small Leaves Foliage". I like that the edges of the leaves are a lighter green. This is the exact set I used bit.ly/3w469QN
They sell these boxwood tiles in squares at my local discount store. They're large (16×16 inches) and I so want them (eventhough the quality may not be on par with yours). 😊
Hi Joann, I did order a case which is 24 panels, however, I only used 15 in this video. I like having the option of making an 8'x8' wall, but for this video I opted to only assemble part of them for a smaller backdrop. If you click on the link in the description it will take you to the exact boxwood color I chose to purchase. There are a couple color variations though if you want a different look.
I love this! If we're doing this at home - could we replace the backdrop stand and use the DIY PVC Backdrop Stand you provided the tutorial for? Or will that be a bit too weak?
Hi there! Not sure if you are still answering questions on this video or not. I was wondering though after you get this all set up when you need to take it down at the end of the night do you just need to cut all the zip ties and then take each section apart? or is there an easy way to also take this apart? Wonderful video on set up! This is exactly what I was looking for. Now just trying to see how I can easily take it down too ^_^;;;
Hi, thanks for watching! Once the event was over I cut the wall free from the stand and rolled it up for a quick clean up at the venue and it fit in my car that way. Once I had it home I then took the time to disassemble each tile and put them back into their boxes. The tiles un snap pretty easily and the small zip ties are easy to cut. Good luck with your event!

For anyone who needs to know, she used 18 panels of green to make up the wall :)

I wish I had seen this video earlier! You made it so clear and easy to follow😃
This video is so helpful! Do you have suggestions on how to attach fabric to the back to make it less see through?
I have attached fabric to the back in two different ways. Either pin black backdrop fabric directly to the plastic mesh of the boxwood wall or slip the backdrop fabric onto a pole and zip tie that pole to the one holding the boxwood wall.
Do you think I could attach a neon sign to the greenery? Or would you recommend putting some plywood behind it to help support it?
Love your video I would like to see how you decorate it and also I would like to know where to buy the poles pls
efavormart, it's these - bit.ly/2SH6MfF

If i add a neon sign and more leaves to the boxwood, will it fall? How can i add additional leaves?
Any tips for making this but with flowers? Thanks!!
Great video! Possible to get a link to the adjustable stand?
It's this one - eventanswer.link/backdrop-stand
Excellent video. I'm using a different brand of boxwood to hide an ugly brick wall in my backyard "living room." The stand is a brilliant idea.
Can you attach a neon sign to that or should I use wood frame instead of the backdrop frame
You could easily add a neon sign to the boxwood wall! If it is a large sign I would tie it directly to the stand. If it is a small one you could tie it to the boxwood grid. The important thing is to not add too much weight to any one square of the grid to prevent it from ripping.
Whats the best way to travel with it? Roll it up ? Or just set up on site?
Is this setup stable enough to hang a neon sign and a few wreaths from. Was planning to bring sand bags as well. Any help would be fab thank you!
Did you have to use weights on the backdrop stand or sand bags?
I have a front porch and everyone and their momma can look over when they walk past. Looking for something I can use with ease for privacy when I sit out. I just may try this.😊
Beautiful idea and easy to follow instructions…thank you!
Were did you buy all the materials (grass and pole)?
Thanks! Everything I used is linked in the video description.
Can this be rolled up and store it for future events or do we need to take it apart every time??
