I kept my hair in mini twists for 95% of 2022 and my hair is FLOURISHING. I love how you braided your twists to give them that curly look!! I'm going to try this next wash day :))))
Yes this I definitely grow hair cause when I had starter locks and I kept it that way for months. They were coils so it’s somewhat similar but nonetheless it majorly grew my hair!!!
Love your method, flat twisting to start will be good for me, my hair grows very fast and the puffy regrowth makes keeping styles like this for only a short while and leaving the ends loose and curly is so cute. Thanks so much!
Girl, this looks AMAZING on you😍🌸 I had sisterlocks for 8 years, they were waist length. I cut them this June. I am going to try this style, I’ve been doing silk presses but by hair keeps getting shorter and shorter.
I’m thinking about combing out my locs and this style would be PERFECT to get my loose hair healthy after a trim. My hair is much more course than yours but I think it could turn out well. I haven’t seen my loose Afro in 6 years so who knows 😆
Hey, new subscriber to your channel. Your hair is beautiful and thank you for all the tips! Just did my first mini twist style and I love them. Question - How many times do you wash your hair during that month?
I’m not sure. I did mine pretty small here to last longer. But I do twists of all sizes and they work great for protecting my hair! Usually the MINIMUM is around 45-50.
MINI TWISTS ARE LIIFFFEEEE. I have reached bra length because of them. I love the frizz too!
They really are!! I owe my mid back length to them! I also have just made a video on my mini braids as well! I love alternating between the two :)

I love braiding them every few days when they’re looking a little flat. Glad you’ll try it! 🤗
This is one of the prettiest styles I’ve ever seen
Aww thank you!! :) ✨

I second this comment. Gorgeous 😍
Mini twists is a great hairstyle and it definitely suits you. GOD bless you.

Amen. God bless you too.
I never thought to flat twist the roots! I usually braid or twist it at the root but I’m gonna give this a try! It looks beautiful 😍
Thank you so much!! And yes! It lasts much longer in my experience! :)

Absolutely! ✨ And when my regrowth comes in, I find doing more updo styles can help it last a bit longer!

Question - How many times do you wash your hair during that month?
Thanks for subbing! Welcome to the fam! :) Usually I will lightly wash 1-2 times if I’m leave them in for a full month. 💕
@faithpelerin You're welcome! And thank you!!⚘️

@@queenmia1965 Great to have you join the fam!! 🥰
I definitely wanna try this but im just worried how long the take down would be lol
It does take a decent amount of time! But usually way less than it takes me to install them, so i just pop on Netflix and tackle haha.
When will the oil be back in stock??
Where are the alligator clips you use from?
My local beauty supply! But they can be found on Amazon or any hair goods store.
This last a whole month???
wow
It can if you take care of them! :) After washing, I just add some products and tie it down with a silk scarf.
Would you ever leave it in and let it loc up?
I always like to try new things and switch it up so I don’t think locing is for me. Not anytime soon at least! :)
I feel like it would lock my hair so I keep mini braids ❤
What is your nightly maintenance for the twists?
I just sleep with a silk scarf, and re-moisturize every few days as needed! :)
How many twists do you have in?
I’m not sure. I did mine pretty small here to last longer. But I do twists of all sizes and they work great for protecting my hair! Usually the MINIMUM is around 45-50.
Do you wash it while in the twists?
I do! I section it into 4 parts and wash gently. It also helps to tie them down with a silk scarf as it dries to avoid frizz!
