I am a Gujarati living in West Bengal and I remember one day playing cricket with some Tamils working in Bengal who did not understand Hindi, still we enjoyed a lot.
India's history, architecture, culture and languages are much much more than what is explained in the video.
India has never been like Soviet Union which broke down due to political reasons, neither like the Balkans which broke down and saw a lot of ethnic kiIIings, neither like Europe where every few decades there was a war in some part or the other. India has performed a miracle by staying together and Indians will continue to stay together ❤.

Actually, Malayalis are not pure Dravidians. Because, the major communities (migrated to Kerala during the ancient times) of Kerala like Nairs, Ezhavas, Thiyyas etc...have a mix of Steppe genes, Iranian farmers, Ancestral South Asian and so on... Syrian Christians also have it along with slight Middle eastern (predominantly Jewish) ancestry. While some Muslim communities have traces of Arabian, Persian and other middle eastern DNA.
The pure Dravidians of Kerala, or the indigenous communities of Kerala can be the Pulaya, Paraya and Kurava communities... however, they are a minority.

At that time, Sri Lanka was known as Ezhathunadu/ Eelam/ Eezham and the people who came from there came to be known as Illava or Illavar which later become Ezhava. They were sent by the Sri Lankan king on the request of the Chera king; Bhaskara Ravi Varma during 1st century CE. They introduced coconut farming to Kerala. Initially, they were Buddhists which later become Hindus. This Buddhist elements are still found in Ezhava rituals, customs and some local kerala festivals. The Sangam literature Pattinapalai and the Madurai inscription of Thirupparankunram also mentions about them.
This study was published in the National Library of Medicine of the US Government. It explains that "Ezhavas showed more resemblance to Jat Sikh population of Punjab and the Turkish populations than to the East Asians, hence indicating a paternal lineage of European origin."

This is true as the Sinhala people are descends of Indo-Aryans migrated from North India during ancient time. As Ezhavas came from Srilanka, they have Indo-Aryan gene with them and that's how they got the European lineage.
