Thank you for posting as I agree there aren't many windscreen reviews out there. One question: do you have much rattling noise with the screen? I saw another review mention that there is some with the wunderlich marathon screen which I am also considering. Actually, may I ask why you chose this screen over the others? Thanks
Hi, sorry for the delayed reply. Probably you have already chosen a screen and have your own experience. Screen is still fitted and I have no issues with rattling or vibration. I chose this screen based on reviews I read at the time, and I don`t regret the choice. Cheers
Thanks for a really helpful video. I just went from a BMW RnineT to a 2020 R1250RS that I just love. Im 6foot2”. Looking at the touring version in my case (the tallest of the three). You said you have the middle. In normal driving position, do you have ”wind-silence” around your helmet above 100km/h, or do you need to ”duck” your position for that? Many thx Tomas
Hi Tomas, Thanks for your comments. Yes, I have the middle screen. A year plus since the video I haven’t changed anything and the screen is ideal. I ride almost always with the screen in the lower position up to 110-120 kph and on motorways, 120-130 kph it’s great to have the ability to move it up and avoid longer spells of buffeting and the majority of wind noise. I can also hear the exhaust which I really appreciate. My opinion only, but it’s nowhere near the at the same level as say an RT screen / fairing but I think it keeps the spirit of the bikes experience and keeps the wind noise down and off my torso and shoulders. I’m 6ft, there is some wind at the top of my helmet, occasionally I would dip down an inch or two if I need to. Hope this helps and answers your questions.
looks good
Great video well thought out a very helpful. Thank you
