I'm 29 my last race was two years ago in a dirt super latemodel been racing since I was ten and when I went to college at UNC I drove a asphalt super late for a team and a dirt super latemodel for same team. I got the chance to race at this track and man they do a great job on the surface here most of the time fun track to drive kinda tricky you gotta throw it in hard but drive off as straight as possible This video gave me that itch to go racing again and makes me wanna go out to the shop and put my latemodel back together and my shaw dirt modified as well for usmts series. Looks like to me you never got past half throttle on the start and man that sucked you ended the night early I hate when that happens over something dumb
When those 2 cars went left my immediate thought was that they were avoiding something. Then I was really surprised when that turned out to be right... Too bad, short night.
Kenny lives about a half mile behind me. Been knowing him and his parents since he was born. Now look at him........27 or 28 now? His dad raced for ever seems like.
I remember seeing Ricky Rudd's footwork on a road course and thinking it was the most amazing skill I'd ever seen. Magic! th-cam.com/video/7DhtCbSayj0/w-d-xo.html
I love my Racing I'm from a racing family we still got 2 cars we was running until covid 19 Kenny Collins man Bro could have definitely used a spotter in that situation he could have maby avoided if the spotter said Get low or go low
If you in the back lay back and take it easy until the cars get sorted out. You'll win more and tear up less that way. Or at least stay down low super low on the starts...
It depends on what the engine is made of. Some steelhead late models I know of push around the 8-9k mark. But most of these engines are aluminum and can probably run around 9-10k rpm. I don't know for sure since I'm not part of a late model team. I am part of a limited sportsman team and our steel block/steel heads run between 7500 to about 8200 but that's pushing the limits. Hope this helps.
If you were to place an Infant, on the Roof, "Aunt Edna" style, the Infant, would disintegrate and a distressed Announcer would say, "Listen, Listen, a Baby's a missin.'" Is how many RPM's (Really Pissed off Mother)

Really? There was a total of maybe 30 seconds of footwork while racing - of which not even an entire lap was completed. What a waste of time this video was.
he cant control what happened on the track. since the driver crashed he had to leave all the cautions in there or it would have been a very short video.
Jesus example of a lot of guys who have no business in a Late Model. Not you of course, guys were wrecking under caution! 😂 can’t make a lap without getting crossed up or wrecking, what a shame
I love the pedal cam the working of the gas and the brake

I like watching the footwork of someone during caution laps lol
Ikr 😂 I had to skip half the video
I’m 14 and my dad said if I get good grades he’s gonna either get me a late model or a modified and so I’m working hard wish me luck guys
That's the best thing I've read all year keep up the hard work I look forward to editing your videos and riding along with you
Damn, I'm 15.and I still have a stinger car, good luck bubba
I hope I can do this
I'm 16, you guys have race cars? D: (lol)
@@cookowa3256 It wasn't easy.

My boy is aggressive on that inside. Damn what a pull. You had a monster for sure. Hate that wreck man.
Nice video if you ever come to Delaware we will rock a cam, rush crate late model, also on iracing WB JAMES II
Love this pov would love to see it more
Awesome vid. Need more foot cam vids👍🏻👍🏻
They are coming, 1 an event is my new standard for now
Kenny loves the brake pedal. I hope he has Raybestos as a sponsor.
yep, gonna go through a lot of brake pads!
Great video! That is no good for Kenny. The footwork in the video is an excellent idea!
Damn. Shitty to end the day like that. Your restarts are on point though!

There just power breaking
Not too big of a deal
Any one noticed he pushed the clutch to go? And watch how much he turns the wheels..... thats crazy
Great view of the race, more please. Cheers Clint Australia

Great example of how you set the car with the brakes in real life but not in iRacing.
damn car just popped outta no where
Man 4:36 I was so zoned into the foot and hand work I about dropped my phone
Honestly I only saw a lot of pace laps than maybe a total of one lap before he rear ends another car. Great work!
Sorry I had to make it a minimum of three minutes so ads would show up on it and it could pay for your free viewing experience

Well... I wasn't expecting that
Stuff can happen so fast on a race track he had absolutely no chance of missing that one

I feel his pain! That crap will make ya scream! Great footwork though
What’s the two pedals on the left for? They ain’t the go fast pedal. So why use them?
Richard Noggin you’ve never drove a latemodel have you? You use brakes a lot to gain traction in the corner just saying
The brake and clutch
Jokes on you, brake pedal in these can be a go fast pedal. Notice how he was passing cars!!?? 🤔
🥱 it’s called satire guys. Seems not having a sense of humor makes you boys a little dull.
That was over like fast sex, with a Big Bang.
It takes a little practice, try keeping your left foot off of the floor pan. It will give you more control over your braking.
Fuck! didnt see that coming... and neither did he.
Anyone else see him push the clutch to go. Bet u didn't know that.
I did not. Why am I having a hard time understanding that?

Do this with michael chilton
Well that sucks pretty hard 😔
F$%* - Sorry... Damn looks like you had a good setup too. Nice camera work tho...
I will never understand why dirt sanctioned events don't let these guys have spotters.
At my local track many wrecks could be avoided if the drivers had spotters
did not see that coming
That's unfortunate, I see little way of avoiding this crash......
I didn't know you gotta use the brakes so much must go through a lot of brakes
Believe it or not, brakes can last quite some time. A lot of guys just change them more often than not cause they can
