- This video is about Maddog IV: Episode Four Installing Mikuni Fuel Pump. They say the stock chinese fuel pump will eventually fail on these scooters, so i decided to get a japanese fuel pump.

you may want to consider moving the fuel filter to the line going into the pump, to protect the diaphragm from any impurities in the gasoline starting a micro tear (which will eventually tear through and kill vacuum pressure)

Ernesto Ramos I'am planning on getting a better carburetor, should be here next week so expect a video by then 🤓👍 I was also reading that the original Chinese fuel pump eventually fails on you even without any upgrades, so I decided to take a precaution & get a better Japanese fuel pump.
This is dope for sure man I'm about to get one of these I have a 50cc 139qmb that I BBK on my channel but I'm about to get a 150 maddogg and this helps a good bit seeing the layout of it
Cool...just ordered the fuel pump and I'm looking of getting the Yoshimura V2 carbon exhaust for my maddog before I get my scooter but I'm looking online to see if this exhaust would fit on the maddog....I saw a video for the rukus installing this exhaust and I figured it's gy6 engine it should fit??...It's a $400.00 exhaust system ....I think I'm going to wait until down the line I see if you upgrade....still going to do more research to see if it will fit but if you hear something hit me up dude...

it does better mounted level or below the gas tank. These fuel pumps are a push style not a pull style so they like to be lower, but they will work in the stock location, just will work harder.

My maddogg goes out if I'm full throttle. Should I get this and that problem will be solved?
They all need to be replaced the chinese parts always fail

Could be the carb needs to be tuned... but there are a lot of Basic things that need to be changed on this scooter off the jump

Hey, I have one like this one, but I want more speed because goes to slow on the Highway I need 30 or 35 mph least
Honestly bro the best upgrade I have done was buying a NCY 72cc big bore kit, it completely woke up this bike, I can easily do 43mph and have hit 60mph going on a nice hill. There will be more vids coming soon :)

I have a Gen 1 and the tire is rubbing against the rear left strut, do you know what might cause that
you got the big board kit on it after you installed all that stuff how fast does it go
