This is the first song I heard from them, when I was 8 my dad was showing me all the albums he had from when he was a teenager and I remember that I fell in love with Bon Jovi. I can say that they’re my all time favorite band, hopefully I’ll see them live.

The 1970s rockers pretty much had long straight hair, unless they had naturally super-curly or frizzy hair, and then their hair grew up and out and not so much down. :-) You can tell the 1980s hair bands because not only did they have long hair, but their hair was permed and teased and often dyed and highlighted as well. LOL. 1980s fashion was an excess for everything, often bordering on gaudy and campy.

Was lucky enough to see Bon Jovi right when they were taking off for super stardom. They were opening for Rat. Like 2 weeks later they started Headlining their own tour.
Great reaction! This song was recorded in 1986, I think, but still close to the 70s. The greatest thing about rock was the bands coming later! They had such respect for those who had come before, yet they were able to take their own ideas and choices and further this amazing thing called rock and roll. Somewhere, somehow, autotune and click tracks and tricks of computers became more important than the music. No longer was it about the music, but about the "hits". I don't know what we will think of this new music in 50 years.
