Eamon and Bec. I just wanted to let you know what a difference your making. I’m a 19 year old full time college student working 50+ hours a week between my 2 jobs and living independently. Sometimes it’s overwhelming. Especially on Sunday’s because I work doubles. But you have no idea how excited I get when I go on break at my first job and see that you’ve uploaded another video. I spend my 30 minute break watching every second. Your positivity and lifestyle inspire and motivate me. I look forward to every upload. Thankyou for everything you do!!

They used dead trees, which is legal, most of the time. You can get a fuelwood permit to cut down dead+live trees for personal use on crown land. Basically the rules are different in every little jurisdiction/area and you're best bet is to contact the MNR beforehand to make sure you're all good for what you want to do. @@TomBedlammusic I think what he means is that if you look at the difference in size of Canada and the UK on a map you'd realize that we have two very different countries with very different eco-systems which require very different conservation methods. Only 13% of the UK is covered in forest while Canada alone makes up 9% of the World's forests. Canada's main threat to the forests are actually wildfires and not the deforestation that is so rampant elsewhere. Chopping dead trees actually help prevent wildfires which is why it is easy to get a permit for harvesting for personal use.

Thanks for sending love across the world! Eamon and I actually lived in Melbourne for a year and a half and traveled down the east coast of Oz too. We absolutely LOVED our time there and are ALWAYS plotting how/when we'll get to return 💜
Hi Eamon and Bec! My boyfriend David and I love your guys’ content - we’re avid campers & adventurers of Ontario’s nature as well, also from Toronto. Along with everyone else in these comments, I’m super concerned about how you removed wood from the forest for fuel. Regardless of whether you have a fuelwood permit, it’s extremely harmful to ecosystems to remove any kind of wood from forests. Dead wood, or living saplings. Many small and vital critters and plants make dead wood their homes, and removing it can seriously disturb the eco system. Please consider preparing and bringing firewood or purchasing it along the drive - so many small farms in ontario sell it for cheap!!! At the very least, please don’t include this in future videos. It is not good practice and you have to recognize you two have an influential platform here. Please be considerate of our amazing Canadian backyard 🤍
A small handful of deadfall is NOT going to adversely affect the ECOSYSTEM beyond repair,.You Treehug-trender. Mankind since ANCIENT times has collected wood from the forest.GET OVER YOURSELF. Furthermore as a vanlife/nomad myself. I KNow that some provinces take issue with bringing wood from other provinces in, especially considering INVASIVE species.
Have you also considered the damage you can do to the ecosystem if you bring in wood that harbors pests or contaminants? Wood purchased elsewhere needs to be properly treated to kill everything, especially fungus and diseases.
@@alkirk5748 Hi!! I understand that collecting wood from forests on a small scale is not going to detrimentally affect an ecosystem :-) moreso just trying to share my thoughts and encourage consideration to nature. Sorry my comment bugged you! Was not trying to hate on Eamon and Bec, and tried to be kind in my delivery. I also was not encouraging brining in wood from far away - I said local :)
I love watching your channel, but I do want to leave a disclaimer: PLEASE be SO careful playing this game. I lost a co-worker almost exactly a year ago due to a marshmallow getting lodged in her airway and expanding while playing this game. She was 42 years old. She lost too much oxygen to her brain and was on life support for a week and tragically passed away. PLEASE BE CAREFUL. It was a horrific tragic accident 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
You guys absolutely melt my heart! Love seeing the dynamic and depth of your love and appreciation for each other! No matter what your beautiful souls shine through! Keep living your dreams. What an inspiration to so many
I hear ya but we own a cottage on a lake, been in the family for ages, and you cannot imagine the horrible, awful and disgusting things people leave behind after "camping" and "just having a picnic". This includes making fires that they do not properly extinguish which is quite dangerous, pooping all over, trowing beer cans around, and even burying dirty disposable diapers made of non-composting plastic. In this scenario its difficult to empathize with grouchy pink shorts guy because we "know" Eamon & Bec, but its good to try, none of us has walked a mile in grouchy guy's shoes. His dog may have carried in a human poop diaper that very morning. It happens.
@@mynamename5172 soooooo true! I was purely speaking as if it were truly them and they happened upon my property! But in general, you are right people have no respect for others property and i would have probably asked them to leave. Just teasing them! :)
@1234 I can't speak for the private property owner in this instance, nor have i seen all the footage of the van ride on the way in, nor do I care to do so. We have signs posted no hunting no trespassing, people actually remove them during hunting season "accidentally". We are not allowed to have a fence, nor would we as they disturb wildlife.
I love Eamon's hair😉 not all guys can pull off long hair but if your a cutie like Eamon it's really sexy(no disrespect Bec) just saying...so love you guys😘
Nice video as usual. But I'd definitely advise AGAINST felling of saplings for firewood, let alone filming that. Not only is the yield very low, you also removed the entire potential for it to become a real tree...and depending on the laws in Ontario (which I don't know) it might also be illegal.
@@indorock How do you know? It is a 30 dollar permit you can purchase at any MNR office. It isn't hard to get by any means and as van lifers it is probably something they purchased without really thinking about it. I get that in other locations it may be more difficult but in a place like Ontario where the vast majority of the forest is untouched it isn;t that hard to get a permit. I have one, my brother has one, my parent have one. So I suggest people who aren't from the area who know little about the legalities of the situation refrain from making comments on subjects they know nothing about.
Of course!! We REALLY needed it too! I could literally feel my jaw unclenching as we lay on that yellow mat in the middle of the lake! Nature is the best medicine!

@@obsidiangraves5961 Says someone who clearly has never been evacuated due to a forest fire. I assure you forest fires do far more destruction then they've done here.
. dont assume anything about me..I'm literally on evac alert right now in penticton b.c. the problem with the forests is that they r spraying them to kill all the trees and plants(that usually keep everything moist enuff not to burn) except the ones they want (tree farms) and then they just burn like matches bc they r all pine trees full of pitch that is used to make turpentine and other flammable goods.not that there is dry twigs and branches on the forest floor. Canada's main threat to the forests are actually wildfires and not the deforestation that is so rampant elsewhere. Chopping dead trees actually help prevent wildfires which is why it is easy to get a permit for harvesting for personal use.
I love the “casual vlog” style of this video. I love the other styles too but enjoyed hearing you laugh and enjoy each other’s company! ❤️🇨🇦❤️
“Newbies?” Regardless how good you are - and you are GREAT VanLifers - when you’ve been away for a while, it does take a bit to get back in the groove.
Congrats on Casa B’s maiden voyage!
“I think we gotta go home” ... “you are home bud” lmaoo oh man gettin back into van life. I love this. Sending blessings your way 🖤
HAHAH home is where we park it... mosquitoes optional 😝
Eamon & Bec hilarious 😋 Love from California, stay safe & have a wonderful week. 💛
Lily pads are the best thing you’ll ever purchase! They are big but they are durable and so fun!
Can I just say what an awesome job you do with filming, content, editing and production. As a newbie trying to create a bit of content for our fledgling site, it takes FOREVER, and that’s documenting a 2 hour thing not a whole week of activity. Much respect to your professionalism.
it is so great that you are respectful of the land you visit. We have property on the Bruce Peninsula. We get a lot of visitors to the area that squat on any land they can find but leave loads of garbage, coolers, empties, condoms, etc behind after they leave and expect the land owners to clean up after them. Good on ya for the effort
Always the highlight of my Sunday! You’re truly a joy to watch 😄 Stay strong you guys 🥰
Thank you so much Ana!!
Love your videos, been watching you guys for years. Beck is the worlds most beautiful and upbeat women, she always makes me feel good. What a great personality. Eamon is fun to watch and very crafty, gives one inspiration to tackle whatever, and handles issues so calmly. Thanks for another well edited video.
Thank you for always taking us along on your adventures! My bf and I love to watch your videos on sunday mornings! :)
Thank YOU for joining us on the adventures!! Sending love to you and the bf 💕
You guys always make me feel so happy with your sense of humor and amazing chemistry between you two. Love you guys

Oh yeah! Been watching your newest van project vids this summer at first, cause thinking about building one next winter and I'm now totally obsessed with your channel ✌😝 I've watched now I think every van vid from the start, man you've come a long way and it's so cool to see 😎 So glad I did not start watching you 2+ years ago when I first saw something you posted, cause now it's the right time for me and I've been able to binge-watch your whole van life! 😃 U 2 R AWESOME 🤘
Thanks so much Jason! Hope you do join the van life movement! We think you will love it!
@@eamonandbec I will, it's just the location for the project and time after work that hold me back a bit still cause I got to do it right when I do it you know 😎 Finnish winters equal to Canadian 🥶

Where in this planet did you find that Mega soothing shade of pink ?? I didn't think I liked pink, I can't quit staring at it, it looks like a cotton candy cloud! Love the Morraccan pillow accents, love the POWER. . I live in gold country California you guys are welcome anytime it's beautiful here 💖
You both make me so happy. Every week I look forward to Sunday’s to be able to watch videos like these. You both make me want to be so much more positive in life. Thank you for making me laugh every Sunday!

“That camera angle is like “”What’s up girl”” I started dying laughing and crying cause I’m so single
If we chopped down a small tree like that in a australia we would be fined thousands of $$$
I'm not sure you're supposed to chop down trees for fire wood...
marlynka we are not allowed in Australia. Massive fines and banned from all parks
Abby I get that, I meant that in Canada is also against the law to be chopping down live trees for firewood.
Yeah, definitely against leave no trace principles whether or not it's fined.... definitely fined in BC though I don't know about Ontario
@@AbbyAndAlbit here in canada we plant over 200 millions of tree per year! It's a great ressource here and a major part of our economy so when tree is getting cutt down, there's is a planter near by to plant some more! :) also sorry for my bad english lol
Love you both so much from Australia!! Hopefully when COVID is all over you guys can visit over here! You would both love it here so much ☺️
Thanks for sending love across the world! Eamon and I actually lived in Melbourne for a year and a half and traveled down the east coast of Oz too. We absolutely LOVED our time there and are ALWAYS plotting how/when we'll get to return 💜
they make me so happy like it seems like their genuinely in love and it doesnt look fake or over dramatic idk but i love them
We absolutely love Bob, he is such a blessing to you guys.
Wood purchased elsewhere needs to be properly treated to kill everything, especially fungus and diseases.
thank you so much for this comment, i didn't know this and i'm so glad i do now!
@@geoffh66 I was not encouraging bringing in wood from far away - I said local :) All ontario parks provide wood that is safe to burn.
I'm so sorry, that is truly devastating. I've never thought of something like that happening so thank you for spreading awareness.
A kid died at school, too, from playing chubby bunny. Not a safe game.
Great way to start the day!!! Whoop 🙌🏼 💕I love the fire pit with your faces engraved into the side, looks AWESOME!!!!. 🤙🏼
Thanks Jenna!! And yes, we love our fire pit. It was handmade by our buddy Ped Baker pedbakermetalcraft.co.uk/ :)
Yes, I love the firepit! Thanks for the link, I was curious where you got it.
Watching you’re guys channel brings me so much joy and I’m happy to see you two back on the road doing what you love ❤️

I just love how you two are always laughing and get along so well.
You guys absolutely melt my heart! Love seeing the dynamic and depth of your love and appreciation for each other! No matter what your beautiful souls shine through! Keep living your dreams. What an inspiration to so many
By the way you packed those chairs, I can tell the guy was nice 😄
I would have let ya stay! But you definitely did better at Teapot Lake anyways 😃
It happens.
Right he should have said. You guys can stay for a day or two. I would have welcomed you both.
@@mynamename5172 soooooo true! I was purely speaking as if it were truly them and they happened upon my property!
But in general, you are right people have no respect for others property and i would have probably asked them to leave.
Just teasing them! :)
@@storieswithori in a perfect world 🌎 I wish i had just an acre of this property ♡
Imagine what Eamon would look like if he had a haircut?
Also, Bec keeps calling Casa, Trinity
Edit: Yay! Bob's back!
Haha you can go WAYYY back into our video archives for Eamon with short hair!
@@eamonandbec how back?
Edit: Damm Eamon looks weird
I love Eamon's hair😉 not all guys can pull off long hair but if your a cutie like Eamon it's really sexy(no disrespect Bec) just saying...so love you guys😘
Looks like it's time to carry a small Coleman like stove. And maybe get Bob a couple of different coloured U of Guelph shirts. :)
Well that’ is s at sounds like one ds eyoure a willy tooo you get a chance and I you
Nice video as usual. But I'd definitely advise AGAINST felling of saplings for firewood, let alone filming that. Not only is the yield very low, you also removed the entire potential for it to become a real tree...and depending on the laws in Ontario (which I don't know) it might also be illegal.
If they have a permit it is completly legal on Crown Land in Ontario.
@@katiest.vincent4283 well then clearly they do not have such a permit.
So much fun to watch these two. Sundays are so much better because of them. Sending love from NC, USA!
I have got my hubby, into watching you guys. And now it's our Sunday afternoon tradition, to watch it together😍
I love how much stuff you keep in, when you have oof moments. Really nice to see the reality of vanlifing :)

There are always those vlogs that you guys produce that are just the best!! They capture the fun and random things you guys do on your adventure for the week and they are sooo good!! They always show your trip throughout off-roading in casa b for the first time and playing a ridiculously funny game of chubby bunny. They are the most fun and you just show how real and genuine the life your living is. This was one of those vlogs. This week's vlog was AMAZING.

Ahh! Thank you guys for existing. Starting my van life in just over 2 weeks. Watching you guys makes me certain I'm making the right decision
All I could keep thinking while watching this is you guys need a little outside table!! Breakfast bowls on the ground, dinner/lunch plate on the ground! A little pop up table would be perfect!
Why Are you chopping green trees? Or even the dead standing tree? You are the people, outdoor people have a problem with. Only use fallen wood. Leave No Trace #LNT
Jordan Hendrickson spot on, they lost karma points on this one.
Thea Long
Dead wood is vital for a plethora of fauna and flora to survive. Studies into multiple ecosystems collapsing have been related to sanitising forests and woodlands from deadwood.

Fallen wood is important to the forests too. Just buy a bundle b4 u go out.
Which are habitates for other needed creatures.
