You only write a code in Jupyter notebook. The trained model information is in .pkl file which will actually be deployed. That is what has been shown here. APIs are written to access the .pkl information, there configuration files for Heroku and all the said files are deployed on the Heroku cloud.

It works the same way. The change is that instead of a .pkl file for sklearn models, you will have an HDF5 file for Keras models which contains the model information. Search for tutorials online based on what I wrote. Remember, writing APIs for your project is what you have to learn by practice.
