Alan Coren (RIP) is not only here, and always was the most clever and humourfull member of this panel and elsewhere. Miss him loads. He was a one off.

Rory Bremner or Angus Deayton would make great hosts.
Why can't we have the likes of Alan Coren now? Poor comedians trying to shoehorn in their jokes are what we are stuck with.
He died in the Noughties. However, hs son Giles is a writer and journalist and his daughter Victoria is a poker player, one of the regular BBC/ Channel 4 panel game set and married to David Mitchell.
@@anonUK Yes, I know he died. That's why I was lamenting his absence. He was a strange chap. I met him once at a party. He walked up to me and said he didn't like the party. I asked him why and he said because he didn't know anybody. Then he walked away.
When The News Quiz earned the title of Flag Ship on R4. It's almost unrecognisable now with millennials on the panel and they are just not funny.
The comedy of my childhood - it's all fun and games until the racist accents come out :)
Racist? Only in the mind of those racists with guilty minds.
@@Ubique2927 ...why would a racist complain about racism? If the Trump presidency has taught us anything it's that racists love to hear their private views expressed by others in public.
