I'm aware that I have already done a tutorial on this. However, I found it insufficient. For instance, the cursor was missing. I wanted to make a redo, years later.
This is a tutorial about creating a car. However, I was silly enough to do it in a public server. As a result, people interfered and the whole ordeal took 20 minutes. Skip to 14:40 for the REAL tutorial. I only included the outtakes for humors sake. I don't think people will click on this when they see it is 20 minutes long tho ;-; And I am SOOO SORRY but the resolution appears to be horrible. I recorded it, and the video was high quality, but yt appears to have compressed it. You probably cant read what I'm saying, so here's a tutorial in comment form! 1. Create a floor part! Press J and select "NORMAL", then click anywhere on the ground to create the floor for your car. Press Z and use the position tool to drag it up a few studs. 2. Create four cylinders. Press J and select "CYLINDER", then click on the side of the car and adjust their position to make it pretty :p. 3. Make the drivers seat! Press J and select "VEHICLE SEAT", then click on the top of the car. Adjust the position, you know the drill. 4. If you'd like to create additional, non-driver seats, press J and select "SEAT". Adjust their position however you'd like. 5. Now, let's go back to the cylinders. Select two cylinders on one side of the car. Let's start with the left side. Press B to use the Surface Tool. Click on the side of the cylinders facing the car. Now the first dropdown menu should change to say "RIGHT". Click on the second dropdown menu and select HINGE" 6. Repeat this with the cylinders on the other side. 7. Decorate however you want. Change the color and the material !!!! WELDING TIME !!!! 1. Select EVERYTHING. Press F to open the welding menu. Press Weld To Last! 2. Select ONLY THE SEATS AND THE FLOOR OF THE CAR. Press Weld To Last! 3. Select ONLY THE WHEELS. Press Break Welds! 4. Now unanchor everything!!!! Enjoy your car! AFAIK there is no way to change the speed of the car unfortunately. However, don't think this doesn't mean you can't get creative! You can make a train, the welding would just be trickier. I once made a monorail! You could maybe make a plane that "flies" on large invisible wheels! Keep in mind that experimentation is the only way you'll gain experience. Try something new! It's fun!
