    Thanks. Great video and I learned alot. How would you report a heterogeneous uterus, with no obvious fibroids?

    • @GynaecologyUltrasound
      @GynaecologyUltrasound  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Thank you. You should look for the features of adenomyosis and describe any if you see them.

      @@GynaecologyUltrasound thanks for your reply? Is a heterogeneous uterus alone a feature of adenomyosis? Or would u say diffuse fibroid changes?

    • @GynaecologyUltrasound
      @GynaecologyUltrasound  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@stephenmcalea9860 it’s hard to tell you that without seeing any images but ‘diffuse fibroid change’ isn’t really a thing ....when people write that, they usually mean adenomyosis ...

      Hi. Adenomyosis is a common condition in women in their 40's but we do see it in younger women in association with endometriosis, congenital uterine anomalies and outflow obstruction eg post endometrial ablation. There are more videos on the website gynaecologyultrasound.com/ Best wishes :)
