A child has two fathers: Heavenly Father and Earthly father
A father takes charge of his household, teaching God's covenant children/godly offsprings, God's Way (Gen. 18:19)
A father is given an honour by God to direct the household and the children

Hannah gave away her son, Samuel, to be taught by a Priest in the fear of the Lord. We are to bear each other's burdens in parenting too
Romans 7:17 or Galatians 2:20 I choose the latter. That Christ may take me further in my character development than I ever imagined possible.

Yet, as human rights are being trampled, we should ask ourselves if religion is explicitly or complicitly condoning such behaviors.

Is there any indication in Sis White's writings where God has shared with her why He did not outrightly condemn slavery?
How do I get ahold of James Rafferty?
You who are slaves must submit to your masters with all respect. Do what they tell you-not only if they are kind and reasonable, but even if they are cruel. For God is pleased when, conscious of his will, you patiently endure unjust treatment.
1 Peter 2:18-19 NLT
The Bible NEVER condemns slavery but goes on to endorse it.
JESUS is even presented as the ultimate slavemaster by Paul asserting that obedience to harsh/cruel masters is pleasing to God as it mirrors "serving" our master in heaven.
Furthermore in 1corinthians 7:20-23, there's no glimmer of freedom for new believers in Christ who came to set captives free as they are encouraged to remain as slaves if they were a slave when they became a believer.
Human right and dignity is far from the gospels mandate in this regard.
In the end we are told that we are BOUGHT with a price. Slavemasters buy people and we were bought by Christ to be his slave.
Our master has shifted from the greedy enslavers of Europe who enslaved Africans to the great enslaver of the mind who was also used to excuse and promote African slavery.
Yes we mental slaves now as some on the panel have gladly admitted.
