I also attempted hatching with our small incubator. It takes 12 eggs. We got eight chicks out of 24. Tractor Supply was offering same deal here in our area of a dollar a piece. Got a variety of 24 plus broilers. Having to build a new chicken tractor. Seemed like a good idea at the time. Only a dollar a piece!

@albrightfs it's just a 72 watt bulb. I don't use heat lamps. No need where I live. It's hot.
