Carl Bell wrote all the music for Fuel, it’s his brainchild as long as he’s in the band it’s still Fuel. Kevin Miller on drums also an original member. I wish Brett would’ve been there too , he is larger than life and a great frontman but this is Carl’s band
Does Brett still have a voice? These guys were one of the best live bands period in the 90's and early 00's. Only Sevendust and Live can compare. This... this isn't Fuel. I always hate when bands change singers and keep the same band name.
No one ever really knows what happens in a band unless you are actually in it. Brett is an amazing performer and Aaron Scott does his own thing admirably. The band has had 20-ish members. I'll say that Carl Bell always seems to looking for some validation, but who knows. This iteration sounds really good.
Brett was on board for a reunion a couple years ago and carl fkd it up too much ego in that thick skull of his he forgot he's not the only member in the band brett is the most down to earth guy his Facebook is public he talks to his fans directly his new band radiobot are releasing new music soon

Were you there, every other band had the video for their set, if you had spent money and time on graphic and told people (me personally) that the videos screen is going to give the outdoor performance something extra you’d be pissed too. Carl was awesome though went down into the crowd in this show and was walking around playing and drink beers while playing it was awesome.

I’m sure there was a logical reason they didn’t have the video wall. I didn’t need to be there to know how the industry works.
They put on 3 amazing shows that were absolutely packed with happy singing and screaming fans, we all agreed with his complaint. They were told the screen was going to be there so they spent money on the graphics and then poof gone right before their show. We thought it was a lame move by sixth man or Norwegian not him.
Their last CD wasn't bad, clearly not Fuel of old, but half of the bands that are over a certain age, say 20 years or more, this is what they look like. It sucks but I think this is just music circa 2024

Correct. This is their 4th lead singer because nobody can stand the bald guitarist. He always has to tell everyone he wrote the songs because he hates when other people get any spotlight. He is butthurt that he always wanted to be a lead singer but he sucks at singing.
Take the guitar away from the lead singer, he’d probably be a better performer if he didn’t have to remember to pretend to occasionally play it. Everytime he starts messing with it his voice starts to struggle
Fuel is only Fuel with Carl AND Brett Scallions.
