The new lines have been impressive over the years. Though they are more built up than the early years of Rampage. A return to form of flowing narly terrain, as opposed to the downhill bmx Rampage has become, is what I'd personally like to see. But I speak for myself as just a spectator.
I second all of this. Rampage has become a big hit garden of groomed lines. I’ll never forget the first few years, it was magic. Russ Morrell riding on a hard tail, Kyle Strait blowing everyone outta the water while still going to grade school, Joshua Bender hitting things that made everyone else look like a kid on a backyard plywood ramp. Those days were golden, and I’m not sure we’re gonna get them back.
@@bryantrudy568 thanks for reminding me of the classics¡ There is the dilemma with the old rampage that, whoever gets first pick of the lines wins. Which is why rampage is all about the tricks now.
@Red Bull: what's the song at the end of the video (1:57)? Somehow it remembers me of Heaven's Basement's sound, but i don't recall a song with that jingle...
It's cool that you guys are doing these tributes to all the past Rampage event, but at least spell the athletes names correctly. It's Cedric Gracia, not Garcia
The earlier Rampages were gnarlier in a way, since there was less building and more natural lines.
+Inline Downhill Vancouver And "speedy" guys like the great Cedric Gracia were capable of winning!

What I mean to say is, the event is becoming similar to Dreamline, a different RedBull event. Still impressive though.
