I'm pretty sure Shasta white is the color for 86 350x and 200x tanks. Lemming Grey is for 85 350x. I'm going to do a Lil something different on my 200x and 350x but still keep it a honda color

I just seen those on the 350x fb page last night. I might ad the gusset to the frame for the pivot bolt as well. After I know if I'm doing that I'll order the longer one that they offer

Great video! I really enjoy your content. I’m pretty sure the ATC 350 X, atc250 R and TRX 250 R use a 25 spline axle/hub. The 400 EX hubs are 24 spline. They will fit all of the Chain Drive ATC models 110 to 200cc. I have actually had success putting very worn 400 EX hubs onto a Yamaha raptor axle. Fresh tight 400 Ex hubs, do not want to slide onto the Yamaha axle. I hope you prove me wrong on this because I am in the process of a 350 X build as well. Looking forward to the rest of your build.

I wanted to clarify and correct some thing in my previous comment. I mentioned that the ATC 250 R’s used a 25 spline rear axle/hub. I was referring to the third generation ATC 250 R. I have no idea what the spline count is for the first and second generation ATC 250 R. I never have owned either of those. Sorry if I miss lead anyone on that. Regardless keep up the fun content!
Just to comment on the foot peg meeting the leg. 😢 About 4 years ago my foot slipped off the peg at speed. Went under the peg, then the tire. I went under the machine. 1/3rd leg crushed. Don't do it! 😂😂
Only way 400ex hubs fit a 350x or 250r is if it has a 400ex axle do not belive ya can do that in a 350x but a 250r ya could I run 400ex axle carrier and hubs and 450r brakes on my trx250r best bet for new axle on a 350x from what I've seen is a 300ex with a spacer from Louis meilke to space the sprocket good luck man
@@garagemcmatt ya like I said the axles will inter swap so you have a 250r axle on your 400 and 400 on your 250r lol true 250r and 350x axles have the same splines thats different then the 300 400 450 etc

Ask your powder coat guy for Super Chrome powder coat. I've done it a few times. It 100% looks like polished aluminum.

You preheat that frame to 350 and use 0.25 solid wire with 75/25 gas you'll be fine.

Yeah we are all half wrong on the. The 350x is unique however I do have 250r hubs on a 400ex. And vise versa. I'll show in my next video
