Easy French Twist for Long hair

Halo Lovies!
Joining the hospitality industry years back, a MUST grooming standard was to have our hair in ONLY but a french twist. Struggling with my long and thick hair, I watched tons of videos on TH-cam and could never find one that was suitable enough to keep it up! After 2 months of experimenting, I finally discovered a different and faster way of doing it. The best thing is, TEASING is not required! After the initial twisting and pinning in the beginning of the video, tucking in the rest of your hair at the bottom will create a nice poof at the crown, saving time on all that backcombing which we women hate!!
My technique may require a lot of practice and but once you get the hang of it you'll be able to twist within maximum 3 minutes!!
*tip* the tighter the pinning the better. You want to make sure it'll last those long 12 hour shifts!!

perused about 5 different videos for a french bun. This is by far the easiest and stays in place. Note: my hair is about
6 inches shorter than hers.

Great video!!! This works incredible! My hair is straight & tends to stick out when the ends are tucked in, so a good tip is to set aside 5-10 min before & curl the ends of your hair if u have stick straight hair (like mine), & spray it, but other than that it works great!!

I'm definitely going to try this. I've never thought about securing it at the top and tucking the tail inside at the bottom. I usually do the fold and Tuck method several times before ever pinning. Thanks!
